• Staff courteous, room clean, great AC, decent breakfast.
• Garbage can at stairway stayed full needed to be emptied more often.

“We stayed at this Howard Johnson in June and thought it was very nice. Breakfast was good (waffle press), rooms were clean, staff was polite. Pool was clean. We stayed 5 days and will be staying at the Howard Johnson again in November. We were very pleased.”

• Rooms are clean and tidy. Everything was functional and in place.
• Lobby is separate from rooms. No hotel boundary or close building.

“My stay in the hotel was satisfactory. Not much variety in breakfast items. Staff behavior was okay.”

• Dark room, outdated decor, poor bedding, not as clean as could have been.

• The pool and hot tub was nice. Friendly people and helpful.
• The first room we had regular beds and they were to small for us. They let us switch to a King the second night and it was much better.

“It was nice for the price. We would stay again. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

• Location, front desk greater was super nice.
• Smallest TV set I have ever seen in a hotel room!

“The Howard Johnson hotel is a big complex of three 4-story free standing buildings with exterior room doors. We thought "Hotel" meant the room doors would be on the interior, not on the exterior like a motel. The room was fine and the air conditioning worked well and kept the room consistently cooled all night. We were told that there was Wi-Fi in the public areas but not in the rooms. And were pleasantly surprised when we were able to connect to the internet (via our laptops) from our room anyway. The TV seemed incredibly small by today's standards we actually laughed when we saw it. However, it worked just fine and we able to watch CNN just fine! The hotel met our expectations. Check out the Titanic Museum one block away!”

• Wireless internet connection was poor.

“This was a pleasant stay for the money. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

• The hotel was close to a lot of attractions, centrally located.
• The hotel was dirty, the rooms smelled bad, was roach infested.

“I would never stay in this hotel again! It was awful. The staff was rude, the rooms were smelly, dirty and roach infested.”

“It was a nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, reasonable. It seems to be family oriented. I am a single, leisure traveler, so I would choose a hotel that has less children for my next trip.”

• The paper thin walls. Noisy water pipes. Nasty rooms.

“Apparently they have new remodeled rooms, but we sure didn't get one of them. The walls are paper thin. I heard everything my neighbors were doing. Peeling wallpaper, noisy pipes, hot tub that didn't work, tiny TV, broke down mattress, etc. I will not stay here ever again.”

• The linens were terrible, the sheets kept coming-off the mattress and you wake up lying directly on the hotel mattress!
• The sheets.

• The continental breakfast was great!
• We were in the very back of the hotel and no one else was around so yes, it was quiet but a little unsafe feeling.

“Overall, the hotel stay was great. The room was big and comfortable and the cleaning staff always supplied us with plenty of towels and such. It was a great time and would select Howard Johnson hotels again.”

• Two computers with internet access in the lobby.
• A bit of a hike outside to get to the lobby from the room and the room was dark.

“The hotel was being remodeled so one of the buildings was not currently being used. The hotel room was clean. The shower seemed to be very loud, had to turn the TV up loud if the shower was running. Only a small window to the left of the wall instead of normally in the middle which made it dark in the room. Breakfast was limited for Branson, donuts, cereal, waffles and fruit. Walls seemed to be a little thin between the rooms, could hear banging in the other room. There were two computers with internet access to use in the lobby.”

• The friendly staff.
• The Hotel was under remodel. Did not get a remodeled room.

“10 years ago it might have been a 2 star hotel. Hopefully the remodel will help things out. I did receive a great exfoliation treatment from the sheets.”

• It was pretty clean.
• It was very noisy, it had pipe noises in the room and you could hear through the walls.

“I liked it because it was clean and near everything but didn't like the noise all night long from pipes. It needs some up keep.”
