• Elevator wait is short.
• Hot in summer weather.

“They have air conditioners regulated that go only down to 75*. If you are hot natured, do not stay here.”

• The facilities seemed nice enough. Two pools, workout room and a restaurant.
• The convention staff was terrible and cared little for making a wedding reception special.

“The hotel was fine. The check in/out was smooth and quick. The rooms were spacious and seemed clean. The hotel had decent pools and workout areas. The problem was with this experiences was the convention staff. I was a groomsman in a wedding reception hosted there recently. All of the wedding party and family and most of the guests attending it stayed there. I was shocked at the price gouging and general treatment of the wedding couple and guests. I have been in other weddings at different hotels and they go out of their way to make it a special time, especially for the couple. Not here, we seemed a burden from the start, like they were doing us a favor. The management acted bothered and confrontational when a complaint was mentioned and actually seemed to make things worse with her actions, threats and responses. Not a great experience for me or anyone attending. A shame, for it was supposed to be a special day for the wedding couple. The hotel its self was on par with other hotels, but nothing special. If you are planning a smaller event, I would definitely look elsewhere.”

• The atmosphere of the lobby was very receptive, professional and attractive. It gave a great 1st impression.
• It was close to the activities but further from our relatives than we would have liked.

“This hotel was much better when Holiday Inn ran it.

1. The rooms are not clean, one stay we found a nice present of feces in our toilet.

2. The staff is extremely rude, on a separate stay I left a swimsuit behind in a room and the staff will not help me on retrieving it. Which probably means it's still in the room but b/c the housekeeping doesn't clean, it hasn't been turned in.

3. The last two times I have stayed here there has been something broken. My air conditioner was broken last stay, during 90 degree weather. Another stay our only phone in the room did not work.

If you are looking for a nice hotel, stay at the sheraton just down the street, there staff is accommodating and very friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. They are also much cheaper in price. That is where we will be staying from now on. I think Springfield should find it embarrassing that the President stays at that hotel.”
