“This hotel is perfect for a solo business traveler. Right off of Interstate 44 and convenient to the city. High speed internet and mini fridge in room. Had a problem with the AC and was immediately moved to a room right next door.
”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Not the cleanest place in the world.

“The staff was great! Old and the staff did everything they could to help me out. The room wasn't terrible, I just wish the carpets had been cleaner-(but when I mentioned it upon my departure the lady at the desk put that room on a list of rooms to have carpets cleaned). So they are making an effort- with shampoo, soap, lotion and coffee provided in the room.”

• Right off of the highway. Easy off and easy on to I44.
• Lots of Semi Trucks. If you are on the road side you will have lots of noise.

“We stayed here to break up our trip to St. Louis. It was inexpensive, well lighted, close to several retail stores and a few fast food restaurants (Waffle house and IHOP). For what we needed it served well-bare bones accommodations, a decent bed, and a good air conditioner. Wouldn't want to stay here for a nice time.”

• Location was good.
• Room was damp, musty and had bugs.

“The location was convenient and close to highway. Room was clean but damp - probably because the air conditioning was not working well. Not a pleasant stay.”

• In-room coffee maker was nice extra and free USA today.
• Could have had a little more counter space in the breakfast area.

“Was pleasantly surprised at the quality; may have been a smoking room, but as a non-smoker I didn't notice; included an in-room coffee maker, and hand lotion as part of the toiletries; borrowed a very nice hair dryer without any problems.”

• The bed was very comfortable and gave my wife and I a great night's sleep.
• Breakfast was put away before 9:30, the time they said it would be available until.

• Clean & basic, no frills. So affordable, a safe budget happy choice.
• Sure miss comfy mattresses, high quality sheets and jetted tubs.

• This hotel is rated only as a one star hotel, but had two star quality, was very impressed.

“Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The crib I requested for my daughter was ready. The room was very spacious and clean. For the continental breakfast, then had coffee, juice, donuts, and bagels with cream cheese...all were yummy. I had booked a smoking room in error and they quickly made arrangements to put me in a nonsmoking room. I would definately stay here again.”

• Fairly quiet
• the place was marginal at best.

“If found two donuts under the bed, lord knows how long they had been there. the staff was rude, and non caring. I wish there was a .5 class then I would know what to expect”

• Closeness to shopping centers, restaurants, and activities
• The mattresses were too soft; they need to be replaced

“The hotel was conveniently located, easy to find, and as mentioned above located very near the city's activities. Even located near a major thoroughfare, the room was relatively quiet. The employees were helpful and courteous.”
