• It is always noisy.

“We have called security about the noise and running through halls at least twice. Last time the room itself was irritatingly loud (water pipes banging).”

• Clean, comfortable beds, roomy.
• Could have used a refrigerator for eye drops that had to be kept cold used ice instead.

• Very nice rooms, beautiful.
• Having to pay $9.95 per day for wireless is ridiculous.

“Beautiful hotel and very nice. I hate paying almost $10 per day for wireless internet when you can go to almost any "lower budget" economy hotel and get it for free. If they can give it to us for free, then the nicer hotels should be able to as well.”

• The warm chocolate cookies given when you check in.
• I can't think of anything I didn't like.

• Clean and comfortable.
• The elevators were a little slow.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree. People were friendly and the pool area was nice. Only two computers in the business room so it was tough to get on at times.”

• Pool and recreation area were very nice, the complimentary cookies were delightful.
• The loud, drunk people that tried to get into our room from midnight until 1:30.

“The temperature of the rooms was very warm and even with our controls set as cool as they would go, the room did not cool off. Additionally, there were very loud and disturbing guests trying to get into our room which was very alarming. We felt unsafe.”

• Nice rooms, good breakfast buffet, good location.
• Not a very good hot tub.

“It has a good central location with easy access to major highways running all 4 directions. Even with a wedding taking place in the hotel, it was quiet and the rooms were clean and well taken care of.”

• Close to downtown without paying for parking.
• May have been an older property, slippery tubs for showers.

“High-rise hotel close to downtown without the downtown expense of parking. Great cookies, health club, small pool, star bucks coffee in the morning! Enjoy.”

• The hotel staff and accommodations were outstanding. Our room exceeded expectations!
• Nothing comes to mind.

“The hotel was located in an area with that was easy to access. It was situated near many different restaurants. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The facility was well-decorated and inviting. Our room was great. We would love to stay at the Doubletree on our next visit to Minneapolis.”

• Location was easy to get to but not much around in the area.

• The comfortable beds and great bath towels.
• Would like better coffee in the rooms.

“The staff was friendly, the beds were wonderful, and the bath towels were plush. We really enjoyed our stay, but we like to wake up and drink coffee right away in the morning and the coffee was just ok. Would not have minded a free continental breakfast also, but the hotel was great. Would stay there again.”

• Quit, clean, and friendly.
• $1 for local calls, expensive restaurant.

“Shuttle service to downtown Minneapolis is great but does not run on weekends. Comfortable beds. A shortage of good restaurants in the immediate area. We loved the Costco store that is adjacent to this property. Oh yes, they hand out delicious fresh baked cookies at check in.”

• The warm cookies. Comfortable beds, clean linens.
• The pool and whirlpool both could have been warmer.

“We liked the hotel. The lobby and our room both looked great. Our main purpose for staying there was to use the hotel pool to entertain our kids. They had a great time - and had the pool to themselves because it this Doubletree is used primarily for business travelers, I believe. So at 9 a.m. we were able to use the pool alone as a family. The hotel clerk gave our kids extra warm cookies which we thought was a very kind gesture.”
