“The hotel was very nice, well worth the price. The all u can eat seafood buffet on Friday night and the all you can eat prime rib buffet on Saturday night was the best ever, worth every penny. I like that the hotel was in a quiet part of town for traffic but did not like no gas stations or stores around it. Would stay there again.”

“No tub. No hangers in the closet. No tissues. On our 3rd day, housekeeping did not clean our room, then lied and said that they did when we reported it. Management said they would have someone call us to explain and would make it right. There has been no call or follow up.”

“Stayed here for two days on business. Hotel is a bit dated but for the most part clean and acceptable. Only noticeable exception to the cleanliness was my bathroom had somebody else's hair all over the floor. This hotel has the slowest elevators I've ever seen. I stayed at the top floor (8), and the wait for the elevator each morning was several minutes. Don't waste your money at the bar. It is expensive and the bartenders have little or no experience with bartending. There was no beer on tap (even though there are taps). Excuse was they're broken. Service in the bar was very disappointing, both times I went in there. The hotel is ok if you're on business, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family on vacation.”

“The Northland was a beautiful until we got to our room, then it was rather lackluster. The lighting in the bathroom was poor and the Jacuzzi was dirty. Once I cleaned it and brought in a lamp from the bedroom, it was a nice place to read and relax.”

“We have stayed here like 4 separate times now and it seems each time it gets worse. There was a Soccer tourney going on and it seemed like every team was staying at this hotel which make it a loud, hyper and irritating stay. The elevator wait at this hotel is horrible and the fact that they charge almost as much as the Embassy Suites, isn't really in a central location, doesn't provide anything extra (breakfast) and the rooms decor are now becoming completely outdated along with mean that we will no longer be using this hotel.”

“It's laid out like an "Embassy Suites" with an indoor courtyard in the middle. Usually these types of hotels are noisy, but this one was pretty quiet. It's in a quiet location, but just off two major freeways. They have a lot of weddings there too, but not very busy when we stayed (over July 4th weekend!) Great suites; ideal for families visiting the quiet North suburbs of Minneapolis.”

“This hotel is in a great location for the northwestern Metro area of Minneapolis and is easily accessed from the main highway system. It has great onsite amenities and is a great place to stay. We will return in the future.”

“It was a very nice place to stay, though noisy at night and difficult to regulate the temp in your room because the thermostat was set so it couldn't go any lower therefore the room was warm. They didn't have microwaves in the rooms and no access to pop machines, in other words they want you to purchase everything from them which is very pricey. But overall it was a very nice place to stay.”

“This was a nice, clean hotel. Very loud in room due to atrium design of hotel. I felt comfortable bringing my 1 and 3 boys. There is not a lot to do for children but a small pool. I would recommend for business travelers or families that only need to be there to sleep.”

“Very clean, comfortable. One elevator didn't work so it was very slow to get up to the room and back. Stairs weren't marked clearly at all.”

“Very comfortable hotel with an attentive staff who is very warm and friendly. Very nice hot tub in the A little far from Minneapolis proper but easy access to major highways. Close to great restaurants in Maple Grove.”

“This is a great place to stay. The hotel is nice, clean and neat, and the staff are just about the best I've seen. It doesn't have all the frills of newer more spendy places, but the double wirlpool tubs are fantastic. We thought it was a wonderful place. For dinner, try Biagi's Italian just a few minutes west.”
