• The continental breakfast, indoor pool, 24 hour coffee, safety.
• Only rooms left were with 1 king bed, but it was State Fair weekend and very busy everywhere in the area.

“The staff was friendly, no problems with check-in or check-out, clean, nice continental breakfast. Only recommendations would be (but NOT a complaint!) to update the room's decor and separate the bathroom sink from the toilet/shower area.”

• Quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Huge bathroom!
• Never answered phone when called in advance. Desk service slow.

“After a hectic drive through West Des Moines, we were met at check-in with warm cookies and a quiet, pleasant lobby. Our room was spacious. Although right off I-35, there was no traffic noise in our room. Hotel was definitely a pleasant surprise. We would stay there again.”

• Nice breakfast selection and great AC.
• We did not have a choice of beds, one king for 2 adults and 2 kids was not ideal!

“Nice accommodations, close to interstate, and malls. We were happy with the breakfast selections and cleanliness of the room, but the pool was very small with short hours. We were unable to get two double beds for the four of us and no rollaway were available. Pretty tight space!”

• Clean room, good breakfast, easy location.
• Unable to get nonsmoking room, smoking room smelled terrible.

“The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and it's in a very easy to find location. My main disappointment was that we had to be in a smoking room and it smelled terrible each time we reentered the room.”

• There was a continental breakfast each day.
• No high chairs available, rooms were not very clean, decor was outdated, no double rooms available.

“This hotel was in a nice location, near the freeway and shopping. The largest disappointment was that we requested a room with two beds and only a king was available. This was problematic for all 5 nights. No highchairs available in the restaurant area, however the coffee was fresh and food was fresh. The staff was usually helpful. There was also a large group of teens staying there so it was very noisy. We were woken up by kids pounding on our door several times late at night.”

• The rooms were very large and comfortable.
• The breakfast was awful.

“This is a nice weekend hotel for a family. The room is very large and the family will not feel cramped.”

• Free beer at happy hour.
• My room was by the vending machines and elevators, very noisy.

“Nice and clean, ask for your room to not be by the vending machines, elevator, stairs and ice machine. You won't get much sleep.”
