• Location great, comfortable bed and loved the kitchen great breakfast.
• No complaints.

“Would highly recommend. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Nice large suites with kitchen facilities. Frees breakfast rated very high on scale. Safe location, close to upscale shopping center and freeway.”

• The breakfast served in the morning was better than expected.
• Jacuzzi tub spit out what looked like chunks of dead skin through the jets.

“Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. When I first got there, the room looked okay. I arrived late at night (got up to my room after 10:30). After I went out to eat, I filled up the Jacuzzi tub/shower combo to try it out. My wife wanted me to get one for the house, so this was my chance to see what it was like. I got in, and turned on the jets. To my horror, from out of the jets spewed what looked like chunks of dead skin. I immediately turned off the jets, drained the tub, and after I quit gagging I took a shower. I'm not a complainer, but I decided this was definitely worth complaining about, even if it was late. I informed the night manager about what had happened. His solution was to move me to another room. It was after 11:30 p.m. at this time, and I had to leave before 8 in the morning. I sure as heck wasn't going to take another bath. I wasn't about to move all of my belongings to another room at that late hour. It's disappointing, since I go to the Des Moines area all the time, and it's the first time I've been to this hotel.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The television was small and old-fashioned.

“The room was large and clean. The breakfast was hot, with a variety of choices. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. In the end, it is what it is - a 2-star hotel - but a very well-kept 2-star hotel.”

• Suite was excellent. Breakfast was great.
• A little hard to find for the first time visitor.

“The kitchen in the suite was well furnished with microwave oven, two burner stove, full-size refrigerator, dish washer, and pots and pans and dishes. It had a very nice pool and hot tub open 24 hours, and a wonderful complimentary hot breakfast. The rooms were very clean. Free laundry is available.”

• Breakfast area was big.
• Whirlpool in pool area did not work.

“Overall we had a pleasant stay. We could hear someone elses TV all night on one of the nights. Staff was very friendly and complimentary newspapers were nice.”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly.
• They were undergoing construction.

“This hotel was very well located with it being close to the Interstate and to the Jordan Creek Mall/eating establishments. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was the construction that was going on (which I didn't know about) but hopefully, that will just add to the attractiveness when they are all done.”

• Rooms not sound proof, slow elevator (only one).

• Beautiful view and an enormous bed.
• Difficult to find at first.

“My wife and I stayed there for part of our honeymoon and were impressed with the size of the bed, spaciousness of the room, and overall quality of the staff. Staybridge was a good beginning to the trip.”

• The staff was very friendly and kind!
• The room we stayed in had pieces of the wall falling. The pool and hot tub needed some repair work.

“Overall our stay was nice at this motel. Other than the rooms and pool needing work, I would recommend this hotel. Breakfast was included in the stay, which made it nice. They may need to add a little more option to their hot breakfast.”

• Sundowner complimentary hors d'oeuvre, wine/beer.
• Whirl pool was in need of repair.

“Locations is excellent, just off interstate, but still quiet. Jordan Creek Mall just down the road with lots of eating choices. Rooms are very large with microwave and refrigerator, would make a very comfortable for a several day visit.”
