• Staff very accommodating; room beautiful.
• Pop machine out of a flavor till we got to the 8th floor.

“Excellent. My mother was along & we requested handy-cap facilities. Staff very accommodating & willingly changed our room. Very friendly. Room was excellent. Pool & hot tub very nice.”

• It was comfortable, beautiful and very nice.
• No meal service was included i.e. breakfast but there were options close by besides dining in.

• It was a beautiful hotel, with comfortable beds!
• Little farther than us wanted.

• The room was fantastic from the beds, to the flat screen TV, it all was great.
• Nothing, it was great.

“This is a fantastic hotel if you are on a business trip. They have a number of very nice meeting rooms and a great bar and restaurant. The room was great. It had a very comfortable bed, free internet and a flat screen TV. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Clean and furnishings in room were upscale.
• Had to pay for breakfast.

“This Marriott hotel lived up to its reputation as a quality place to spend a night or weekend. If I was a business traveler I would look to stay at a Marriott in my travels.”

• It was a nice and comfortable room. Next time I'll try a more central location.
• A little far from the downtown area.

“We enjoyed our stay and would likely stay there again if we were on a shopping visit, the hotel is 10 minutes from Jordan Creek mall but 30 minutes from downtown.”

• It was quiet and the beds were comfortable.
• The fact that the TV sound was very loud in the bathroom. We had trouble turning down the volume.

“The hotel was easily accessed from the expressway and was located near a large shopping mall, where there were a number of restaurants. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was a plus.”

• Bed has lots of pillows and nice flat screen TV.
• No free breakfast.

“Over all we had a nice stay, We were very happy with the king size bed and TV. My wife loved the bath and body amenities. We have recommended this to all our friends. We will definitely stay there again.”

• Beds were fabulous.
• Cleaning people knocked on door early! Twice.

“Room very comfortable. Small amount of interstate noise. Not bad. Nice TVs. The speaker in the bathroom was broken and stuck turned up loud. I would stay here again.”

• Location, friendly service and quality of room were perfect for our purpose.
• Prices in lounge were very high 12.00 for a shot of Patron is the most I have paid anywhere in the US.

“The property was beautiful in and excellent location. The pool and exercise room were clean and well equipped, and we found the staff helpful and friendly. We will definitely return often as we have children in the area.”

• I liked the location and that it was very clean.
• We couldn't get the key to work on the elevator to get up to our floor.

• Very clean, friendly and close to Des Moines Eye Surgeons.
• Ok.

“We were there for our anniversary Aug 16,2007 and was wonderful. We had a Jacuzzi suite and received champagne for our anniversary. Staff food and everything was great. Staff is always friendly and polite and hotel is clean. We are planning on returning for our 5th wedding anniversary Aug 16th. We like staying in this part of Des Moines.”
