“The room was clean, the air worked well, the balcony was nice, the pool was wonderful, the hot tub was incredible. However, as far as all the rooms by the pool being booked up. I counted 6 rooms that were occupied out of approximately 50 and late that night there were only 15 cars in the entire hotel parking lot. They were not booked up.”

“This is an older property and is certainly not attractive to look at or a place I would choose to stay. However, all the nearby Holiday Inn Express' were full (because of sports tournaments in the surrounding areas).”

“My stay at this recent hotel was definitely a good one. The rooms were kept nice and clean and the atmosphere was very nice. However, some employees tended to look down on me as if I was just another girl they didn't need to help or pay attention too. I did not like that at all. However, there were others who were very helpful and kind. Overall, this was a good experience and I would more likely do it again.”

“I have never been so disappointed in a 4-star hotel room and have had better stays at 2 Star Hotels. They had problems with someone else's check-in and kept looking it up - using 2 people and we had to stay at the front desk over 30 minutes to check-in. They did one of our reservations and then went back to the other people before finishing with us. Our room was hot and wouldn't cool the entire time we were there. We called and they said they would send someone up in 10 minutes and they never came. Also my parents were in the room beside us and couldn't sleep because the bed was a hard as a rock. We had booked for 2 nights but left after 1 and had to pay another hotel to stay Saturday night.”

“Name of hotel changed. After contacting the hotel to confirm reservations nobody even advised of such. When looking for the hotel we had to stop and ask another hotel for the proper location. Once we arrived, we found the toilet would not flush and had to have the lid removed and float held for water to run and operate as needed. At 9am in the morning (after arriving at midnight) there was a jackhammer being used for renovations next door. Not what I would call keep the guest in mind? Needless to say this experience was not a pleasurable one and I will not be recommending it to anyone in the future. I will continue to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites as I have in the past.”

“The hotel is under renovation. The room was newly painted, and stank. The air conditioning did not work. The TV could not get the lower cable stations (so no dancing with the stars). The curtains were off the rod in places. The towel bar came off. We're staying in one now, and Im about to book another. But this hotel was definitely not worth what we paid.”

“What a disappointment! This is a marginal 2 star at best. I was ignored at check in until the mod stepped up and asked the desk clerk to check me in. They gave me 2 keys (traveling alone) which was a plus because one did not work. My room had sliding doors onto a patio (the reason I never stay in a motel lack of security to outside). Noisy, old style air conditioner with no thermostat. Linens were stale and Smokey and bed was uncomfortably hard/firm. I arrived in time to relax and enjoy a movie but no pay per view was offered and there was nothing on TV. There was a wooden chair with a cushion that looked like a chair for a kitchen table but not somewhere to sit and read. There was no table near the chair to facilitate having a coffee or drink while you relaxed. I gave up and went to sleep but received four phone calls between 1:30 am and 4:30 am. As a result of the entire disturbance, I overslept but didn't realize it at first because the clock was off by 4 hours. Imagine my surprise when I got up and found an invoice under my door showing a balance due for the full cost of the room which meant I had to stop at the front desk and get that corrected to reflect prepayment. Had to stop anyway because no in room checkout was available. The only thing that kept this from being more than a one star was that the furniture was reasonably attractive and the location was okay. La quintal was next door, looked much well and I could have stayed for half the money!”

“The hotel itself is nice, but not what I would call 3-star upscale. It has the appearance of something that once was very nice, but hasn't been renovated recently enough to still carry that distinction. Some of the lower level staff people were very friendly and welcoming, and helped us out at different occasions. Surprisingly, the only non helpful or personable person was the manager of the hotel. For example, I had to get him to unlock the pool at 8:30 a.m. To be able to take a swim before meeting some friends for breakfast. Since the pool isn't supposed to open till 9 a.m. He told me I was out of luck and to come back later. Didn't say any kind of apology or "I wish I could help but." No, it was just very matter-of-factly like he couldn't care less about what he guests thought. When I came back at 9:00, it was still locked.”

“We were very pleased with our stay both separate days. Each day we happened to arrive after 1100 p.m. In just happened that we had the same desk clerk each night. I was very impressed with this lady's professionalism and friendliness. The rooms each night were very clean.”

“Not impressed. Better choices, with newer facilities nearby. Pool has been converted to a saltwater system. Pool lights were not working. Water looked and tasted awful. Children wouldn't swim in it. Entire facility is lacking in upkeep. Ok for a business traveler, if you can get a big break on price, but not good for families.”

“This simply is not a three-star hotel. It would be an ok hotel at a lower level. You are not serving your customers well when you list this hotel as a 3 star. The fact that they offer a swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant, etc. does not make it a 3 star hotel. It's the qualities of these amenities that are important.”

“We booked a king was given a double bed, the whole place smelled of chlorine, half the machines in game room did not work right. The tub did not hold water it was after 7 when they found us a room with a working tub, no internet, no HBO. The seafood restaurant had no lobster no crab no oysters. Going up to our room all you could smell was paint. We checked in at 3pm at 6 told them the tub would not work we had to pack our own stuff up a carry it to new room. We paid over 80.00 for room .it was our anniversary I have a breathing condition and the chlorine was so bad I got bad headache.”

“This hotel was OK for our two (one week separated) one night stays during our round trip vacation travel. The bathrooms were old, small, and showed their age. However, the shower had a relaxing spray and the courtyard amenities were nice and family-friendly. The restaurant needs to upgrade their food's taste and portion sizes.”
