• It was ok.
• Problems with keys, phone. Pool area was too hot (glassed in).

“The room was pretty small (and we even upgraded to get a smoking room when we checked in). Frig wasn't cold enough. The phone didn't work and did not get fixed during our stay. The keys only worked occasionally. The pool room was too hot.”

• It is location.
• It actually met my expectations, so I don't really have a dislike.

“This hotel is good for leisure travelers that are not looking to spend a lot on a hotel room, but still want a nice clean room.”

• Windows opened to the outside allowing us to get fresh air.
• Room smelled stale and wasnt very clean.

“This hotel was perfect for an inexpensive stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. The continental breakfast was great. They even had hot waffles.”

• I was in the area for a wedding, and appreciated the noon check out time.
• That the towels were on the toilet, that there was nothing else in the bathroom.

“The front desk person was really nice; breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the late check out was excellent.”

• I was traveling alone so I was glad it had interior hallways.
• Some things were a bit dingy looking, but I don't know if the updates were completed yet or not.

• Jacuzzi not working, first and second room not very clean.

“For a 2.5 star hotel, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The room was very small and could have used a very good cleaning. The air conditioner was laboring when we got there. My wife cleaned the filter and that helped a lot. Since both of us are diabetics, we used the refrigerator. It just wouldn't close because of the ice built up around the door. We defrosted it. That helped a lot, too. The inside of the microwave was very, very dirty. We didn't use it.”

• Old & Cheap bedding.

“This hotel is in a not-so-good part of NW Arkansas. The staff is friendly but the rooms are small and the quality of fixtures is par with a 1 star hotel. Compared with other 2 star hotels in Bentonville, this was not at parity. They are in the process of redecorating but as the adage goes - you can put lipstick on a pig, but you still have a pig.”

• Elevator did not work and I was on the 4th floor. Fire alarm went off several times in the night.

“This hotel was not at the star level I selected. It should have been a 1-star. I saw the other 2 & 2 1/2 star hotels in the area and they were a lot better than this. The elevator didn't work and the pool and hot-tub was closed down. Not relaxing at all.”

• The hotel staff was friendly.
• The hotel was having a lot of renovations, hot tub did not work.

“The hotel was nice however they are working on renovations throughout this summer (07) and so not everything was available to use. The continental breakfast is great.”

• Clean and spacious ---good value for the money.
• Don't like the "new style" they are changing the rooms to. Ugly and outdated.

“I would come here again. Exceeded my expectations. I don't like that they are changing the decor to a "modern techno look" ---I think people are not into that anymore. People want warmer and cozy country looks now. I might change my mind about coming to this hotel with this wild decor.”

• Nice bed, refrigerator, microwave.
• Did not like ironing board/iron within the closet space.

“Was pleased with the room. The bed was very comfortable and we were pleased to see a refrigerator and microwave even though we didn't properly make use of them. Would have loved to have had a recliner in room but the chair was comfortable. Need 2 chairs for when a couple travel together. The desk was a bit high to be comfortable while using Internet. Did enjoy high speed Internet though. Would recommend and stay at a La Quinta again.”

• The room was nice and comfortable.
• Hair on the bathroom floor, barking dog all night, and very loud until 1:30 am.

“We really enjoyed the area and the hotel was very convenient. We had a problem with a barking dog for several hours, in which the desk clerk said she could do nothing about. Also, we were down the hall from the pool, and there were people running down the hall and yelling back and forth from the pool. After about 1:30 am it quitted down.”
