• Family and pet friendly.
• The eating place very slow service and was not worth the price of the meals.

“I would recommend this hotel to family that like to go to the Royal Baseball games. Location is excellent. The room and bed was very good.”

• Close to the arrowhead stadium.
• The beds were not made the room was dirty because no one had cleaned it before we checked in.

“It is good for sports fans, mainly if it's a guy's trip no women, a lot of things were broke at the hotel, the room was a mess, it was very noisy; good for men not women; it was not close to a woman's standard.”

• The room was nice and clean, and the location wasn't too bad. We liked that it is right off the interstate.
• We did not like that when we called the hotel; we found out that we could have gotten our room than what we had paid.

“The room was nice and clean, and the location wasn't too bad. We liked that it is right off the interstate. When I called to confirm the room, they put me on hold for five minutes, and she was in such a rush that I could not ask for a different room, so our double bed was smaller than what we're used to, but we made do. We also did not like it that the hallway was very smoky, but we once we got in our room, it was ok. For our third day there, they did not leave any soap or shampoo in our room.”

• The hotel was great for going to the Baseball game, I felt safe and felt comfortable leaving my car parked.
• The hallways were dirty.

“Finding the hotel was very easy. Great location to go to the baseball or football games. Easy access to interstate, nice lobby, and front desk staff. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. I felt very safe and felt very comfortable parking in there lot. The only thing I saw was that the hallway corridors to the room were dirty. It was great weekend get away for my family.”

• They let us check in a little early. That's it.
• Service.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. I have several issues: 1. The door handle to our room was broken. 2. 2 of 3 ice machines were broken. 3. Parking is horrible. 4. Waited to be seating at breakfast. Thought the front desk at check in said complimentary breakfast. ”

• The location.
• Noisy heater/air conditioner.

“Everyone is very friendly and the hotel is clean. The breakfast is very good from the menu, not the buffet. I wish it had a restaurant rather than eating in the bar and there is no lunch served. It is good for a business traveler but I wouldn't stay with family.”

• The front desk promptly addressed our request for a new room.
• The room temperature fluctuated too dramatically. The parking options were limited.

“This hotel, which has probably been overrun many times over by over-zealous football fans, seems to emphasize function over form. In other words, nobody would book it for a honeymoon, but they should use it for a place to stay if their business is right there in that part of town. The staff seems to work hard to keep the premises presentable; nevertheless, many of the public areas seemed worn out and dated--the carpet in the hallways, the indoor swimming pool, and the art in the lobby. The rooms had all the pieces of furniture one would expect--beds, night stands, desks, chairs. The TV had the expected channels. Everything was clean. You know, it's just a hotel room. The hotel gets the job done, but it's not the place I¿d want to stay if I came to KC. For a weekend getaway.”

• The staff was friendly and the hotel was conveniently located for our purpose.
• There wasn't a continental breakfast. The lobby and hotel in general had a strong smoke odor which was unpleasant.

“I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler or any one in the area going to either of the stadiums. The location was ideal for that reason. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, but the lobby and hotel had a strong smoke odor which was very unpleasant.”

• The lobby was kind of dark and dreary.

“The rooms were great! We had to switch rooms because of a problem with the bathtub, but the staff handled the situation wonderfully! They were very accommodating. The restaurant where we had breakfast was very good as well. The wait staff there was terrific.”

• Heater in room was broken, and pulled part way from wall.

“The only complaints I would have is they need to inspect the heaters in their rooms before assigning rooms. When I told them about it, they did apologize and offer a discount. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet, which is a good thing. The hotel needs some updating, there are a few areas looking a bit run down, but overall I think would try it again.”

• It's general location.

“Very poor experience. I arrived late after a long day of travel. The room was very cold so I "attempted to turn on the heat". The heater asked and started to flame up. I decided that I could live with the temp. I got in the shower that was very dirty and after about 10 min. The tub filled up and never drained. ”

• The hotel staff members went out of their way to be helpful. They were great!
• Their restaurant breakfast prices are very high if you only eat a small breakfast.

• Ease of access to and from freeway (I-70).
• Malfunctioning hair dryer and toilet that ran all the time, unless we fixed it with every flush.

“Overall, it was good. Staff were pleasant, room was reasonably clean. When there is a ball game (Royals Baseball), it is noisy, due to fireworks during and after game. (Over before 11:00 PM.) We enjoyed our stay.”
