• Nice rooms and
  friendly staff.
• Parking was difficult.

“Nice hotel with nice public spaces and rooms. Parking was a bit hard but other than that, a very nice place to stay.”

• Very nice room and comfortable beds.
• That I was not allowed to get a guaranteed king size bed vs a double room.

• Front desk staff was friendly, competent and excellent.

“The staff is great! When I lost my room key, it was promptly replaced; when I asked for a room on the first floor, I was immediately accommodated! The rooms were clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location. I wish I had time to stay another night and see more of Kansas City.”

• The hotel is really easy to get to.
• A little awkward finding a parking spot and then the elevator from the north end.

“The hotel is a good place to sleep. It could use a renovation, but at the same time it is nothing so bad that I wouldn't recommend staying there.”

• One of the elevators happened to be out because of maintenance.

• It was close to the baseball park.
• The maid was smoking in a non-smoking room.

“I asked for a non smoking room we went to the room and opened the door we were hit with a ton of smoke. I went to the front desk and told them it smelled like smoke. They come and sprayed some air freshener that did not help. The next day we came back to the room opened the door the room was cleaned and were hit with a ton of smoke again. I will never stay at this hotel again.”

• Location.
• Price, our floor they were doing construction in the hall. Air conditioning was very poor, in our room and hall.

“The air was poor in our room and the hallway. I did request a maintenance personnel to check our air. They responded very quickly and cleaned the filters. The location is wonderful so that you can walk across the street to the sports complex. The only negative is the price.”

• It was close to the sports complex.
• We stayed two nights, and our room was not cleaned during our stay.

“The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They must have been short-handed, as a breakfast tray outside a room near our room was still on the floor the next morning, twenty-four hours later.”

• Family and pet friendly.
• The eating place very slow service and was not worth the price of the meals.

“I would recommend this hotel to family that like to go to the Royal Baseball games. Location is excellent. The room and bed was very good.”

• Close to the arrowhead stadium.
• The beds were not made the room was dirty because no one had cleaned it before we checked in.

“It is good for sports fans, mainly if it's a guy's trip no women, a lot of things were broke at the hotel, the room was a mess, it was very noisy; good for men not women; it was not close to a woman's standard.”

• The room was nice and clean, and the location wasn't too bad. We liked that it is right off the interstate.
• We did not like that when we called the hotel; we found out that we could have gotten our room than what we had paid.

“The room was nice and clean, and the location wasn't too bad. We liked that it is right off the interstate. When I called to confirm the room, they put me on hold for five minutes, and she was in such a rush that I could not ask for a different room, so our double bed was smaller than what we're used to, but we made do. We also did not like it that the hallway was very smoky, but we once we got in our room, it was ok. For our third day there, they did not leave any soap or shampoo in our room.”

• The hotel was great for going to the Baseball game, I felt safe and felt comfortable leaving my car parked.
• The hallways were dirty.

“Finding the hotel was very easy. Great location to go to the baseball or football games. Easy access to interstate, nice lobby, and front desk staff. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. I felt very safe and felt very comfortable parking in there lot. The only thing I saw was that the hallway corridors to the room were dirty. It was great weekend get away for my family.”

“I would not stay at this hotel again. I have several issues: 1. The door handle to our room was broken. 2. 2 of 3 ice machines were broken. 3. Parking is horrible. 4. Waited to be seating at breakfast. Thought the front desk at check in said complimentary breakfast. ”
