• Close to worlds of fun/oceans of fun.
• Very unsafe - my jet ski's were stolen out of the parking lot.

“Difficult time getting rides back and forth from the parks. On Friday nights the parks stay open until 11:00, they almost would pick us up and when they did, there driver (a woman) was higher than a kite! Try telling that to your kids! The next morning our jet ski's when busted off our fan. All we got was a sorry. We left that day so we lost all of that days stay at the place. I will never go back and will have a hard time staying at a Holiday Inn.”

• The swimming pool at Jacuzzi was nice.
• It was so unbelievable trashy. Our room was horrible.

“If you need a place to just sleep it's okay. If you want to stay somewhere nice, I'd highly recommend something else. When we tried to talk to the hotel staff about our problems, they wouldn't even listen.”

• Pool area is awesome great hotel for kids, very convenient if going to worlds/oceans of fun.
• Lots of mold growing on tile in bathroom - very small bathroom.

“If going to worlds/oceans of fun this hotel was very convenient and pleasurable for our children - pool area was a delight, however, the shower had mold growing on it, and bathroom was small and dirty.”

• My daughter loved the swimming pool.
• The mattresses were horrible. I had to go to the chiropractor on my return home.

“This hotel was fine for our purposes. We were basically sightseeing and shopping in the KC area, meeting relatives to go to Worlds of Fun. My 5 year old daughter loved the swimming pool and loved the fact that she could see it from our room. On the other hand, the mattresses on the beds in our room were the worst I've ever slept on. I had to go to the chiropractor when I returned home. The bathroom was a bit dingy -- mold on the shower curtain and in the grout lines. Also the entire hotel was extremely humid, probably due to the fact that the front desk, restaurant and all the rooms surround the indoor pool. Maybe it dries out a little in the winter months. It was fine for the price.”

• The staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful.
• It definitely had an odor - musty, dirty in hallways.

“The room itself was okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely had a "stale" odor in the room hallways. Bathrooms were clean. It is sort of "off the beaten path" but would stay again if had companion.”

• Great pool area for kids.
• Smokey lobby, in need of a renovation but looks like they are starting to see that.

“Staff was not as friendly as one would hope. Check in was not smooth, however the morning crew was better. There was a lot of smoke in the common areas which, with the design of the hotel, you could smell everywhere.”

• The fast check in and check out.
• It always felt very humid in the room even with the air unit on.

“The front of the hotel lobby, etc, was very hot at all times. I realize it was a very hot weekend, however when a guest walks into a hotel, they should feel cool and comfortable. The hotel room always felt very sticky and humid as well even with the air conditioner, otherwise it was just fine.”

• Easy access location across from Worlds of Fun.
• Lots of kids in summer months with indoor pool, very noisy.

“We booked king size leisure room. At check-in, clerk informed us of no difference in room and that $10 was internet rip-off. Be careful when you book. Hotel was nice, room was clean, and access to I-435/35 was immediate. Staff was friendly. Hotel is close to 2 major casinos and food choices were nearby plus gas. We would stay here again but not in a leisure room.”

• It was raining when I checked out. I asked the lady at the front desk for a towel, she loaned me her umbrella instead.
• I called to book room but was told they were sold out.

“Front desk service was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. I am very happy I chose to stay here.”

• Indoor pool for grand kids.
• Restaurant price for family high.

“Location was perfect for worlds of fun with family and convenient for royals baseball game. Indoor pool was great for grand kids and grandparents to unwind after a day of fun. On first eve when we arrived staff was helpful in finding a pizza place that delivered to hotel.”

• I liked that the hotel rooms overlooked the pool and it was a very inviting place as well.
• Restaurant prices were kind of high.

“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff seemed friendly. This hotel is ideal for travelers with children because it has a nice sized pool, ping pong table, and an arcade game room. It is also located directly across from Worlds of Fun.”

• Everything in the hotel could be gotten to from the inside and the rooms circle the center which seemed like a small town.
• I was stuck in the back corner of the third floor and it was a smoking room. We don't smoke> it stinks.

“The hotel was warm and friendly, the beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was available inside the hotel. It felt safe, sort of like being in a small town.”

• Not only do they have a pool, sauna and hot tub - but a ping pong table.
• The staff we were in contact with weren't very friendly, and we were charged twice for our hotel.

“This hotel is nice, an open indoor pool with hot tub and a sauna. They have a ping pong table and a restaurant right there, it's also right across the street from Worlds of Fun and Oceans of fun. Overall - it's not too bad.”

• Friendliness and shuttle to get us around.
• No microwave available to guest, had to go into the kitchen.

“We really enjoyed out visit. We were going to Kansas City to watch our Grandson wrestle and he got the Influenza A flu and couldn't go. I called and we couldn't cancel without paying the full price which I thought was bad so we ended up going anyway but did find fun things to do.”

• Restaurant.
• I was too close to the swimming pool. Saturday night was too noisy.

“I caught a good hotel in the off season. It is conveniently close to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. However, my business trip was during the off season. I enjoyed the restaurant and the good location.”
