  • Location.
  • First room was not clean; blankets on floor; had to go back to front desk for 2nd room.

“They just goofed on which room was clean and was not. Accommodating on getting room changed. Just an error. However, TV did not work in 2nd room.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Close to where I needed to be.
  • Guest were loud, could not sleep, uncomfortable beds.

“The hotel is close to worlds of fun. It is set up like a studio so you have a stove, microwave, frig and freezer and sink. The main problem we had was that the guest were loud so we could not sleep and the beds are horrible!”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[1] • Location:[8]

  • Location.
  • Customer service was terrible.

“I arrived at the hotel and got 2 single beds. If I were to request 2 single beds it would have costed me an extra $10. I wanted the single bed and the lady at the counter was very rude about this. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was happy with it, I just think this rude lady had something to prove, and I will not be staying here again.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • The workers were very helpful.
  • The room was small and cramped and the TV channels.

“The room was so small and cramped. I took four kids and was told I would get a room with two beds so I could put an air mattress on the floor for the other two kids. I got there the place was so cramped and only had one bed I had to move the table night stand and dresser to even get the mattress on the floor and even doing that you had to walk on it to get to the bath room. They told me they had cable channels well if you call local channels cable I guess you'll be ok. They have nobody in the office after 11 so if you have a problem you are screwed and they do not serve complimentary breakfast. So if you are looking for a cracker box size room and TV no breakfast then this is the place for you.”

  • Great location.
  • Hotel room was too small.

“Great location, but really small room. It met my needs and all I needed was a bed and a bathroom.”

  • Kitchenette was nice, even though we didn't use it.
  • The bed was hard as a rock!

“This hotel would be a nice option for families coming to Kansas City for worlds of fun or oceans of fun, as they are right across the Highway. With a kitchenette in room families could cook breakfast/lunch in room and save a lot of money!”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Handy, clean, reasonable.
  • No complaints.

“There is a kitchen, if one would want it. It is very basic, but all we needed was a convenient place to sleep. It filled that requirement. If I had wanted a bigger room and more elegance, I would have paid more and gone for more stars. This motel is clean and easy to access, which is most important.”

  • Cheap.
  • They charge for Wini which is a crock.

“Forget that for now. I had an act of god occurrence in Dallas during the day of march 6th and had to cancel my booking in San Francisco.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • The Staff tried very hard to be helpful even though they had no power to do anything really.
  • Hard bed, ugly room, uncomfortable, tiny, malfunctioning outlets showers and sinks.

“The staff was very helpful in the few areas they could be. The room was terrible. It was super tiny and the bed was the worst thing I have ever slept on. The shower rod fell on my head and my sink was holding water. My phone did not work. The television had thick fuzzy lines through it, making it difficult to enjoy the TV. Overall, not a very friendly place, but at least the doors locked!”

“Loved the location and we were given a large room on 26th floor with very nice view. Loved the heavenly bed. Prefer other hotels by choice in downtown Seattle area.”

  • I liked the large bathroom and the kitchen area.
  • No ice machine. Ice tray in the room was not enough for our cooler.

“Not really knowing anything about Crosland, I did not know what to expect. Upon approaching I was impressed by the exterior of the building. When I went in the room I was pleasantly surprised. I have stayed in 1 star facilities before that had carpet stains and mold in the bathroom. That was not the case with Crosland. The only dirt I found was some hairs on the back of the toilet. We chose to stay in a 1 star motel because we only needed it for sleeping (not going to be there much) and we were on a budget. We were in the KC area for doctors appts. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and would be willing to stay there again myself.”

  • Clean, very basic extended stay motel. Helpful staff. Very close to worlds/oceans of fun/hwy.
  • Very basic economy rooms. Hard bed.

“I stayed here one night. This motel is clean, rooms are small. Amenities are very basic. Rooms have a small kitchen. The bed is very uncomfortable, I wouldnt recommend more than one night here. Staff is nice, stay was smooth. The hotel is very accessible if u plans to stay in the north kick area. Right across the way from worlds/oceans of fun, right off i-435. I would recommend this hotel if you plan a short stay and want something cheap and basic. 1 star is about right.”
