“This hotel was decent enough for the price we paid, but I would not recommend it for the list price. Since it was New Year's Day, Spectators, the sports bar, was the only restaurant open. They were understaffed and the service was lacking. It took at least 10 minutes for our drink and food order to be taken, 40 minutes for food and 10 minutes for us to finally ask another customer for change so we could leave money on the table because our server didn't come back to get our money for the bill.”

“We did not make it to the hotel. Family member became ill and we could not cancel or get a credit on the hotel purchase.”

“This hotel was truly breathtaking offering amazing views of downtown KC as well as great access to the Crown Center experiences! If you get the opportunity I would definitely recommend drinks in the rotating restaurant overlooking the nighttime downtown KC skyline. Very beautiful! The room was about what you would expect from a 3 or 4 star hotel, well appointed and clean with a comfortable bed and a mound of pillows. "The Link" covered walkway offers a great way to get out and stretch your your legs without being subjected to the elements.”

“Room was hot on arrival and A/C never worked. When we finally called for a maintenance person, he was extremely friendly, but air was locked at an unreasonably high temperature. Water pressure in shower was low.”

“The hotel was relaxing and worth the money. We went to KC as a family to enjoy ourselves and the purpose was accomplished. The staff and atmosphere of the hotel from top to bottom was excellent.”

“Everything was very much what I would expect out of a four star hotel. Valet parking was $15.00 per night, which I didn't think was bad for the area. Valet attendants were friendly and quick. I never like having to pay for internet, I'd say that was the only down fall.”

I just wondered how many of the people checking in while i was were paying almost 3 times as much as i was. Thank you Priceline!”

“It was matter of fact. I was there two nights, and did not spend much time in the hotel. I did not attend a function there.”

“I would stay here again, but I wouldn't expect to walk anywhere, there didn't seem to be anything to do other that participate in a conference at the hotel.”

“The common areas were
OK but the rooms were not 4 star quality at all. The bathrooms were dingy and I was not comfortable letting my 1 year old on the floor of the room. The parking was ridiculously expensive as well.”

“I have stayed at this hotel twice before and had great experiences, so it was a treat to be there again. But, if this had been my first stay, I definitely would not go back. We arrived at 5:00 pm and waited in line for about 10 minutes to check-in. Once we got to the counter, we were told that the hotel was full and the person checking us in kept disappearing into the back room. I am assuming to see what rooms were open. After another 20 minutes, we were told they had a room with a king bed, but we had asked for 2 doubles. After another 10 minutes or so, we were told they did have a room but it would not be ready for us for an hour. An hour and a half passed and when we checked back a room had just become available. The clerk informed us that she had to go to dinner in between the time we spoke first and when the room was finally ready. When we went to the only restaurant that would come close to feeding 2 adults for $30, we were left sitting at a table for another 30 minutes before we were acknowledged by a waitress. The place was not busy at all and there were 2 bartenders and 3 waitresses that we could see. As we were hungry, we had already placed our order at the bar, but we stood there for about 10 minutes, being passed constantly by one of the bartenders before he finally stopped and asked if we had been helped. Then we were unable to check out via the online system in our room, so we ended up in line again for another half hour to settle up. When we told them about our negative experience, they took / confirmed our contact information and we were told a manager would be in touch with us. That was 3 days ago and no word yet. Too bad, this is a better hotel than this visit showed.”

“My wife and I have stayed in the same hotel before and were very disappointed this time. The staff seemed agitated to help us with our questions. The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. The room smelled like vomit. They no longer had a wet bar. Everything costed an outrageous amount of money. For example $10 to use the high speed internet or $5 a minute in the business center to use mapquest.”
