  • Total luxury package at reasonable price.
  • Charges for parking in the hotel garage.

“Extreme luxury with every need attended to.
I just wondered how many of the people checking in while i was were paying almost 3 times as much as i was. Thank you Priceline!”

  • Covered parking, fast elevators, and a easy check in and out.
  • No free internet access (wired or wireless) $10/day with T-Mobile.

“It was matter of fact. I was there two nights, and did not spend much time in the hotel. I did not attend a function there.”

  • The pool for the kids.
  • Location was not central for a vacation.

“I would stay here again, but I wouldn't expect to walk anywhere, there didn't seem to be anything to do other that participate in a conference at the hotel.”

  • Nice rooms.
  • Plumbing made a lot of noise.

“A

  • Convenient location.
  • Rooms weren't very nice, very expensive parking.

“The common areas were
OK but the rooms were not 4 star quality at all. The bathrooms were dingy and I was not comfortable letting my 1 year old on the floor of the room. The parking was ridiculously expensive as well.”

  • The bed and the room decor were wonderful.
  • No coffee maker in the room.

“This hotel is an excellent option for a weekend getaway. The bed was very comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. The staff were attentive and helpful.”

  • Beautiful hotel and nice location.
  • Check-in took over 30 minutes and couldn't get into room until after 7 pm.

“I have stayed at this hotel twice before and had great experiences, so it was a treat to be there again. But, if this had been my first stay, I definitely would not go back. We arrived at 5:00 pm and waited in line for about 10 minutes to check-in. Once we got to the counter, we were told that the hotel was full and the person checking us in kept disappearing into the back room. I am assuming to see what rooms were open. After another 20 minutes, we were told they had a room with a king bed, but we had asked for 2 doubles. After another 10 minutes or so, we were told they did have a room but it would not be ready for us for an hour. An hour and a half passed and when we checked back a room had just become available. The clerk informed us that she had to go to dinner in between the time we spoke first and when the room was finally ready. When we went to the only restaurant that would come close to feeding 2 adults for $30, we were left sitting at a table for another 30 minutes before we were acknowledged by a waitress. The place was not busy at all and there were 2 bartenders and 3 waitresses that we could see. As we were hungry, we had already placed our order at the bar, but we stood there for about 10 minutes, being passed constantly by one of the bartenders before he finally stopped and asked if we had been helped. Then we were unable to check out via the online system in our room, so we ended up in line again for another half hour to settle up. When we told them about our negative experience, they took / confirmed our contact information and we were told a manager would be in touch with us. That was 3 days ago and no word yet. Too bad, this is a better hotel than this visit showed.”

  • Really nice bed, clean room.
  • You had to pay for everything! The AC wasn't working right because the thermostat was to close to the vent.

“Nice place, just not for me.”

  • We enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
  • Staff was not friendly. The air conditioning didn't work.

“My wife and I have stayed in the same hotel before and were very disappointed this time. The staff seemed agitated to help us with our questions. The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. The room smelled like vomit. They no longer had a wet bar. Everything costed an outrageous amount of money. For example $10 to use the high speed internet or $5 a minute in the business center to use mapquest.”

  • The rooms obviously had been recently updated and were very nice and comfortable.
  • No coffee pot in room.

“We enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this property again if in the Kansas City area.”

  • Clean, friendly, nice bathroom, fast elevators.
  • Parking was expensive and
    I didn't know
I would have to pay that.

“This hotel is clean, attractive and close to some nice shopping and restaurants. The parking cost $14 a day which I didn't know about in advance.”

  • The view of the city from our floor.
  • Having to pay $15 to park without knowing ahead of time (no free parking nearby).

“Nice hotel in a business area. Lots of rooms so the line to check in and out was the longest I've seen. No free parking around that I knew of so you had to pay $14.50 to park in their garage or $18 for valet. Not good for budget-minded families. Always lots of people around for conventions, conferences, etc. but room was quiet during the night. Great hotel.”

  • The view of downtown KC was GREAT!
  • Parking was inconvenient.

“Great location for being near the Power and Light District, as well as the Sprint Center. The accommodations were excellent; the staff very helpful; and the room very comfortable. Slept like a baby!”

  • convenience, pool
  • misleading star rating, bathroom was not up to par, slight order in room

“Front desk exceptionally nice as well as valet. Family enjoyed pool. Room had slight odor therefore we weren't sure of the cleanliness. Bathroom was perhaps up to 2 star standing-- I am really keen on bathrooms and this one was a great disappointment. Rooms need updating.”

  • The kids stayed at the pool until it closed, then next am!
  • There were no inexpensive parking options nearby.

“Super location, close to Crown Center, entertainment, shops, dining. Coffee in room would have been nice.”

  • The room and bed were very nice and comfortable.
  • The check in desk only had 1 agent available and we finally opted to self check in.

“Hotel was expected as a 4 star hotel. The room and bed were very nice and comfortable. The only complaint was there were not enough plug-ins available for cell phones/laptops, etc. The restaurant was commensurate of a 4 star hotel and was quite enjoyable - rotating restaurant and watched a storm and fireworks.”
