• Bathtub was great, Starbucks coffee in the room was wonderful and beds were very comfortable.

“It was convenient to many important venues in Kansas City, staff was welcoming and helpful. Amenities were very nice, especially the outdoor heated pool that guests swam in even while it was snowing and stayed warm.”

• Once again the Westin was comfortable and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and makes you feel like home.

“This 4-star hotel onced again was a home away from home. Extremely comfortable in both space and the king sized bed that we had in our room. Staff was also very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Spacious rooms, adjoining entertainment/restaurants, scenery.
• Would like a happy hour.

“Amazing and romantic overnight for a couple. It was great to walk in the enclosed walkway to nearby restaurants and entertainment. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. It is close to just about any type of entertainment and dining. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very quiet too.”

• The Westin had just been remodled and was very nice-great location and is pet friendly.
• The toilet tissue and kleenex were rough and a very cheap grade.

• It was close to Crown Center and other Kansas City Attractions.
• A little seedy for the price. Room was dated.

“I was excited when I won the Westin Crown Center from Name My Own Price. I was a little skeptical but am fairly easy to please. We got there and parking was easy. There were a million kids evidentially visiting the Crown Center ice skating rink.”

• The room was upto Westin standards and was wonderful.
• The TV did not work but was promptly fixed.

“This is a great hotel for couples, families or the business traveler. Connected to the hotel are the crown center shops that are great to stroll around. Since our stay was during the holidays the hotel and shops were perfectly decorated and the ice skating rink is available.”

• I think that a 4 star hotel should have fitted sheets for beds.

“Our stay was wonderful. My only disappointment was comfort of the bed and a non-fitted sheet that didn't even fully cover the mattress.”

• Rooms clean, updated and comfortable.

“The dogs took away from the ambiance-very smelly and elevators smelled bad after riding after a dog had been in there. On the plus side, never heard any barking and the dogs were kept on certain floors. Other than that, we had a fabulous stay and enjoyed ourselves.”

• Many choices to dine, shop or be entertained.
• There is nothing about this hotel that I could comment negatively.

• The beds were fabulous.
• You had to pay for parking. Also it was very hard to get to your rooms from the parking garage. There were different elevators you had to take.

“This a wonderful hotel if you like shopping and nightlife. I suggest using the valet parking service. It was very hard to navigate from the parking garage to get to the elevator that takes you to where the rooms are. You also better prepare to pay for parking. The room was nice. Was woken up early with loud music from an event going on in the city. But all in all it was a beautiful hotel.”

• Courteous staff; great location for marathon.
• Misunderstanding with parking.

“This hotel met all expectations. The staff was friendly and, with the exception of parking, good at explaining things. The rooms were comfortable and were equipped with refrigerators - very handy. It is located near enough to any business and shopping district and not too far away from the North Kansas City to make it an excellent location for any traveler's needs.”

• Very nice rooms and very friendly staff.

“For as nice as a hotel as it is and its location we were expecting the rooms to be a little more updated. Nonetheless, they were nice and clean. The only complaint we have is that we did not put the do not disturb tag on the door, and the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 8am asking what time we were leaving so they could clean.”
