  • Badly in need of restoration. Bugs in bathroom and a unfriendly staff.

“I will never stay in this hotel again. The staff was unfriendly, and cursed in my presence. There were bugs in the bathroom. The mattresses were disgusting. Absolutely not recommended!”

  • Nice big mirrors on the wall.
  • It was sort of trashy and dirty looking.

“This hotel was very dirty and unkept. The beds were very hard. However, there were very big mirrors on the wall which was nice if you were traveling with your girlfriend/wife.”

  • Everything and going to report it to the better business bureau.

“Given room on first floor, went in found screws and a screwdriver on bed. Curtain was open so I went to close and found the window did not lock. I looked at the bed and pulled the spread back and the burn mark went straight to the covers under and I went back to say I couldn't sleep in that room, was given another and it was just as worse and I ended up leaving after a half an hour of going back and forth to get my belongings. Attendant said I would be shared because the room was used; I pulled the cover back to check the bed that was all my bags were still standing at the door. So I told them I would report them to the headquarters of Economy Lodge and the BBB. It was horrible. It rates no stars should be closed down.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[4]

  • It was located close to our destination.
  • Dirty, heater did not initially work, staff unpleasant, charged extra.

“The EconoLodge was the least expensive hotel in the area but I still felt I was charged too much for the quality and service. Our heater did not work and we were not offered to switch rooms. The hotel staff followed us out of the hotel when we checked out and told us we had an additional charge for having a third person stay in our room, even though we were never asked how many were in our party.”

  • Desk clerk was friendly.
  • Dark dreary hall ways, room not updated.

“I would never go there again. It seemed like the whole place should be updated.”

  • Bedding had holes in it & the sheets didn't stay on the beds.

“This hotel met our needs for someplace to stay overnight, but it could use some updating.”

  • Proximity to the plaza.
  • Towels need to be checked for foreign hairs.

“Overall, it was okay. Not a five star hotel. Good location to several attractions. Just check the towels for hair. They also need to at least turn the A/C on low in the room before they assign out the room.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Absolutely nothing positive.
  • They checked us out of our room without asking us. The assumed we didn't want to stay a second night because we took our luggage with us. They blame.

“Don't go anywhere near the place.”

  • dumpy

“The place is cheap for a reason. The room looked old and small, AC didn't worked as it should've, what's worst was the bathroom!!! It was a bit dirty, the shower was a complete joke plus the toile at the time didn't flush. I was the one picked out this place and was embarrassed in front of my friends. The location is not that great neither. Never ever go there again. 2 Stars for the experience because one of the friend who where there had been to an even worse place.”
