• Nice location and easy to get to everything, and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.
• Walks were not shoveled.

• Nice room kids declared " the nicest I've ever stayed in"
• Lack of housekeeping - burnt out lights, toilet not scrubbed.

“I really liked it and it looked like it would REALLY suit business people well. I was surprised that we had a burnt out light and the toilet looked like it hadn't been scrubbed to remove the ring in awhile, but we had a great time. Also surprised none of the doors we used to get into the hotel from the garage were locked or needed a key card to open. Exactly as described in that the accommodations were very nice.”

• Poor hospitality of staff, untimely room service, seemed like the staff did not want to be there.

“The hotel was in a good location. However, the many of the staff were far from hospitable. I understand it was Christmas eve and day and they would rather have been at home. But it did not seem that they wanted to be there and were very curt maybe even rude. That applied to the staff at front desk, bellboy. The restaurant was understaffed, though the few waiters there made a sincere effort to serve who were at the table.”

• Room layout was very nice - separate bedroom - and the plaza location was close to some of my wife's favorite shops.
• Had to get three different sets of keys made before we got some that worked, and the staff seemed to blame us for them not working.

“Very nice and clean hotel in a great location. This type of deal is why I use Priceline for all of my leisure travel.”

• Beautifully decorated and great location and staff.

“It is perfectly placed in the Kansas City Plaza. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff worked very well with us to compromise on our check-out time, due to our children's nap time. Great hotel for a small price.”

• Little further away from where I needed to go for a conference Marriott Country Club than I hoped, was a hot walk in summer.

• The room was a suite w/ separate bedroom and had a fridge, and a nice pool
• the beds were only full size and had to pay for parking

• Comfy beds and flat screen TV's in both living and bedrooms.
• Elevators are fairly slow.

“I stayed at this hotel years ago before the renovation. It was pretty bad with old, peeling wallpaper and mattresses that you had to hang on the side to keep from rolling into the middle. It appeared dirty, but I think this was due to the bad shape of the room. They have done an A+ job at renovating. I would stay again without hesitation.”

• Perfect location on the Plaza, spacious room, clean, good decor.
• We had to pay $9 for parking, not a big deal for one night, but that would add up.

“The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly. It was located right at the corner of country club plaza which was the perfect location to walk to all the best shops and food places. It was clean and modern looking. We really enjoyed ourselves.”
