• The setting of the room was very homey.
• No complaints.

“The location was perfect for my family's trip. The staff was very welcoming. And, the rooms were beautiful. Couldn't have been more comfortable.”

• Location to Kansas City Downtown.
• Extra charges - parking, internet service.

“This was a great place to stay for the event I was in town for, which was located between the Plaza and the Westport area. The location allowed me to also enjoy some entertainment while I was in town on business due to the proximity to the Plaza.”

• Great suite.
• No wireless internet. No free internet.

“Great suite and great location. However, most hotels provide free access to wireless internet. Here, the hotel was not wireless-ready. And the Ethernet access came with a charge. This is a huge impediment for business travelers and my future stays with Sheraton Suites.”

• Two TV. All the accommodations that I needed.
• The bottle water was $5.00 for 20 oz.

• The staff was great, location was perfect, fab beds.
• Needs updating.

“The bed was excellent, they could use a bit of updating especially the furniture. This is a suite hotel, two rooms which is very nice and quiet, fridges and microwaves in every room. They charge for internet and it is not wireless and for parking. excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.”

• I liked that it was a suite - could close off the bedroom.
• They nickle and dime you to death.

“Though the room looked nice at first sight, there were so many little problems, there was no way I would describe this as a 4-star hotel. The bed sagged badly, there was a power outlet missing a cover (and I was traveling with a small child), one of the bathroom doors didn't work properly, and the toilet was not clean. You have to pay to park in their garage and don't have free internet access, wireless or otherwise. The hotel is located at a great spot in the plaza, but its entrance location isn't exactly convenient or intuitive. We thought that going to a 4-star hotel would make for a better experience, but all in all, we wished we have stayed in the lower-rated nearby hotel we'd previously stayed in instead of this one.”

• Rooms too small to try and make a suite out of them.

“I find the rooms uncomfortable small when they tried to make a suite out of them. It would have been a lot better to have made them one large room. The feel would have been much improved.”

• We were double billed for a movie - "3:10 to Yuma."

“This was a wonderful hotel. We enjoyed the location and the comfort of the room. Check in was easy and the staff very courteous.”

• The pipes made noises every once in awhile when somebody would flush.

• Location, comfort and convenience of room amenities, fitness center with pool.
• I think the internet access charge is too high. Some hotels don't charge at all.

“Excellent choice for someone wishing to visit the Kansas City Plaza and Museum District. Very comfortable, well appointed rooms.”

• Beds were very comfortable better than most.
• Food, breakfast buffet was terrible for the price and selection.

“Hotel was very pretty and rooms were nice suites. Could have been some more room around the bed to put suitcases. We ate the breakfast buffet and had a discount coupon because of such a large and I wouldn't have wanted to have paid any more than 10.00. It was terrible cold, selection was poor.”

• The location is perfect for a weekend of exploring the Plaza without ever getting in your car.
• The hotel bar lacks pizzazz and the bar staff did not treat me as a customer.

“The location is perfect! For New Year's Eve we walked around the Plaza having drinks and appetizers at half a dozen different locations. Even with frigid temperatures we were comfortable knowing our hotel was only a few blocks away. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and the bed was heaven!”

• Staff was very quick to respond to needs.
• There was an electrical switch that was in need of repair and the toilet did not stop running unless you returned the handle to the upright position.

“Wonderful mattress on bed Quick response to request for more coffee and another blanket. Room - very clean. Dangerous electrical outlet. Toilet handle needed fixed.”

• Nothing we did not like about it.

“This was a great hotel located on the plaza with nicely appointed rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food from room service was overpriced (to be expected) and not all that good. There is a parking charge at the hotel (only $9 per day or $14 for valet). Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.”

• The bed was super comfortable.
• Staff did not seem as willing to help because I am a younger customer.

“The hotel was in an excellent location to shopping, dining, and entertainment. It was attractive and I was very happy with the set up and conveniences in the room. Overall, I was very happy with the service and accommodations at this hotel.”
