• It had excellent restaurants on the property.
• Room was dirty and the staff didn't seem to know the area.

“The room was dirty, staff didn't know the area and the pool was very cloudy. It was surrounded by beautiful nature but in the midst, is a large industrial concrete structure that isn't nice to look at. It was close to where I wanted to be but not within walking distance. With high gas prices, that was inconvenient. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable and you had to jiggle the toilet to get it to flush. We had to beg for fresh towels and toilet paper. But they (the staff) were nice friendly for the most part. The walls were paper thin and we heard everything that went on in the next room! The best things about this hotel were the 3 restaurants on the property and the shuttle they offered at a very reasonable price to take guests to different locations. I would say it is a good hotel for people who aren't staying as long as I did or who only want a place to rest their heads or those that don't want to spend a lot and don't expect much. Overall, I shouldn't have expected better for the price and to be honest, I would stay there again just because of the price and the convenience of being somewhat close to where I needed to be.”

• Not in the best part of town, continental breakfast has slim pickings.

• I got check out.
• The restaurant needs improvement in all areas.

“Huge disappointment for a Crown Plaza. The restaurant was not good when it was Radisson, it is no better now.”

• Nothing.
• This is not in downtown KC. It is not even close.

“This is not a downtown hotel. It should be offered in a different region. Your area map is too wide. For those not familiar with the city, it is very misleading. The neighborhood is poor. It is no where close to downtown.”

• The employees where very helpful!
• The beds where not comfortable!

“Overall our stay was good. Didn't realize us where in a bad part of town until we go to our hotel. But we didn't travel much outside by ourselves. The staff was great! Bed was not comfortable and the blanket on the beds where full of burn holes which we had a non smoking room! But the room served its purposes, a place to stay and sleep.”

• It was nice to have a fridge in the room.
• There were no donuts or rolls for breakfast.

“This was a great hotel. It was booked full but yet it was completely quiet. You never heard people in the hallways, TV's or people talking. We felt like we were the only ones there. It was really nice, clean and there was an internet computer in the lobby for us to use to watch the weather where we were headed. We will stay again!”

• Free wireless and high speed internet access, indoor spa, free breakfast.
• Breakfast lacked fresh fruit (except oranges once) and lacked protein, like eggs.

“Great, simple, clean basic hotel room with free wireless and high speed internet access. Wonderful courtesy van service within approximately 5 mile radius. Indoor spa and a few gym machines; free breakfast, nice decorations and kind staff; great drivers (of the van) (nice to talk to, friendly, tour guides). pleasant place to stay, good location- close to main city locations, like convention center.”

• Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Respected privacy sign.
• Toilet was clogged and instead of fixing it, they handed me a plunger.

“Convenient location. Easy to find. Friendly, English speaking staff. Great rates, food close by.”

• There was no TV remove in our room.
• The room for breakfast was too small.

“All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the Plaza area was great. It was nice not driving and looking for a parking space. The overall experience was a good one!”
