• The room had two comfortable beds as well as a small living room area. It had lots of comfortable space for my two daughters and me.
• The toilet and tub area was really small.

“We really enjoyed staying here. We especially liked that it was just far enough away from the major highways that it was quiet, good sleeping. They had plenty of food available for breakfast. We liked the mirror, counter, and sink outside of the shower area. It was comfortable and clean.”

• The room had lots of technology and was spacious.
• The room smelled like hay for some reason!

“The hotel had a spacious room with the latest in technology. It appeared that it had been recently renovated. Breakfast was included and was clean and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to others.”

• Very modern with large standard rooms.
• The breakfast was underrated.

“This is the third Hyatt Place I have stayed at in different states. Again exceeded my expectations. Hyatt Place hotels are a good for the whole family.”

• Hotel had a fitness center and also offered a free pass for 24 hr fitness down the street - Awesome!
• No time limit in the business center and too many kids on the computers. Also, the continental breakfast ended too early and a lot of people.

“I've never stayed at a Hyatt Place before, but now I'll always be looking out for them. Excellent!”

• Pool towels always low.

“Great location. Only a 10 min drive to downtown KC and more peaceful than staying in KC. About 1/2 mile from the 435 interstate. Convenient with no traffic noise. Lots of dining, shopping and attractions within a few miles. Nice, big rooms that are separated by a 3/4 wall and have an L-shaped couch, table, cushioned coffee table, fridge and sink area. 42" plasma TV's in the rooms that swing towards the living area and the bedroom area. Very comfortable and quiet area. All other guests I saw were nice families and casual business travelers. All employees were very polite and eager to please. Only low was the pool was not quite. The pool was still about 50' long and 25' wide, so it was great. Highly recommended for families and business travelers.”

• Took a long time for water to warm up in shower and sink.

“I loved the hotel. The TV was great! The water took a long time to warm up and one of the sinks didn't drain very well. I also enjoyed the large couch and the bar area. I would strongly recommend others to this hotel.”

• Outer door closing loud. Hot room.

• I liked the feeling of comfort and hospitality, clean and sanitary feeling, excellent hotel to stay at.
• I liked everything about my stay there, thank you!

• The room was spacious and very homey. I loved the TV being accessible to both living are and bedroom.
• The self-service feature seemed to make the staff invisible. I waited a considerable time for a human every time I needed one.

“Large, spacious rooms with all the amenities a business or personal traveler could ask for. This particular location is very new, so the true test will be the care as wear becomes a factor. The public spaces are very contemporary and provide many private spaces to enjoy. My only problems were finding a human to help in a very automated hotel and my room was not cleaned at all one day of the 5 I spent there. When brought to the hotels attention I was told they would let housekeeping know!”

• The renovated rooms are beautiful.
• The flow of the breakfast/food area. It was very congested.

“Same decor in all rooms and it's our style. The bed is extremely comfortable! You always know what you're getting when you stay at the Hyatt place.”

“Due to a missed flight connection we arrived well after midnight. The hotel is under renovation and the noise of workmen began too early in the morning and continued throughout the day.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The remodeling in the hotel was extremely inconvenient.

“The hotel was clean to the re construction. It was very inconvenient to get in and out of the lobby the workers worked through the weekend so when we were in our room, we could hear them working on the floor below.”

• Under construction, under staffed, someone else's old food left in room.

“Hotel being converted to a Hyatt express. Only had one person on staff. Remote in room did not work, and they were unable to fix. TV was very blurry. Stale food left in room. No food left in breakfast area by 8:30. Ice machine only worked on 1 of 5 floors. Take this location off your 2.5 star lists until remodeling is done.”

“Location good staff rather indifferent and unprofessional. The noise from the construction was untenable. Also would have appreciated knowing that there was a remodel project. I would have stayed where I felt safer and where it was quieter.”
