• Comfortable beds.
• Under renovation - the place is a mess.

“This hotel is under renovation, it is a mess outside and in many areas of the interior. The exercise room smells of mold, it smelled so bad that I refused to use it.”

• I liked the restaurants inside the Motel.
• The motel is under complete renovation. The exterior is completely covered with a tarp!

“Our experience was ok at best because of the construction going on. The parking was bad, the noise was loud, we got dirty walking through the parking lot. The rooms are ok but everything seems old for what should be a 3-star Motel. It's no wonder they're renovating.”

• Construction taking place on face of hotel, no view.

“The Marriott in Overland Park was in a great location near very nice retail and restaurants, and also near a major highway. It was nice as-is, but they are also remodeling/updating. Staff were very helpful. it has a Starbucks in the lobby.”

• Clean and comfortable rooms and the staff was friendly and helpful.
• It was under construction but it was still pretty good.

“The staff was great, the hot tub was good, there wasn't a lot of people, there so we had the tub to ourselves most of the time. The exercise room was nice, the rooms were nice but needs new mattresses, mine was sunk in on the one side. Otherwise the rooms were comfortable and clean. Didn't have any view as we were wrapped in plastic all the way around the hotel!”

• Building was under construction, but did not effect our stay in any way. Very nice place to stay.
• Could not look out the window due to construction.

• Fairly close to most major attractions/venues.
• Nothing in particular that I didn't like.

“The hotel is easy to access from the highway and most major attractions or sports venues are relatively close. There are also several major restaurants within in close proximity. The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. It's also kind of nice having a star bucks in the lobby. This the third time we've stayed at this hotel and it's been great every time. We'll stay there again when visiting K.C.”

• Most comfortable bed we ever slept on. Hotel right off I435-made it easy to get around KC.
• Only complaint was the showers were not good.

“We loved it. Truly the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Staff was excellent from the front desk to house keeping. Lots of dining options just a short drive south on Metcalf. And being right-off I-435 made it easy for us KC Rookies to get around with no problems.”

• It was nice.
• Our shower did not work and the stool overflowed twice!

“I think the hotel was nice, but our stay was not without problems. We were not able to take a shower, and the kids bags in the bathroom were soaked from the toilet overflowing.”

• Starbucks.
• No gift shop and guests were noisy (chiefs in town as were some of their fans).

“This hotel is well located with easy access to I-435 in South Eastern Johnson County. There are three restaurants, including the sports bar. Breakfast and minimal dining is a block or two away, and can be easily walked to. Check out Le peep for healthy breakfasts and Panera bread is also in the same complex. If you extend your stay make sure housekeeping knows. We told the front desk we were extending but this was not communicated to housekeeping.”

• The staff was very helpful and timely.
• Our room had a view of rooftop equipment.

“The hotel accommodations and staff were great. The location was very convenient to all of the places in town that we needed to travel, and close to all of the restaurants. Other than the fact that our room did not have much of a view (which wasn't important to us), the value could not be beat! I look forward to returning to this hotel the next time we need to be in town!”

• We were able to check out late to fit our airplane flight.
• They charged us for movies we did not rent.

• Friendly, accommodating staff. All non smoking!
• Nikko restaurant too expensive.

“We had a great time at this hotel. My husband is allergic to cigarette smoke so Marriott has our loyalty with their non smoking hotels. The staff at the Marriott was wonderful, very professional. We chose to eat breakfast at a nearby restaurant instead of at the hotel. Try lepeep! It's just down the street and yummy!”
