• Comfy beds.
• Dirty linens, dishonest staff, plumbing problems.

“Encountered several issues during this stay. Had to move rooms due to sewage backing up into tub (other guests had similar problems, and this has been an ongoing problem for some time). Several pillow cases were stained with various DNA examples. First answer from staff to any question you ask is "we are completely full", regardless of what the question is and the obvious fact the hotel is nearly empty. Bed was comfy, but that was about the only positive. Rooms were updated with flat panel TV's recently, but no HD programming is provided so picture quality was terrible.”

• The rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable.
• The hotel restaurant was very expensive, causing me to go elsewhere for food.

“This hotel was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. The rooms were equipped with new flat screen TVs, and I had a great night's sleep.”

• Much better stay than last time. Room much cleaner.
• Just didn't seem to have three star rating. More 2 star. Not so fancy as they make out to be.

“This stay was much better and the room cleaner but still not that great of a hotel. I would rate it as good as any comfort inn that we have stayed in. I expect more from a 3 star hotel. More fancy amenities etc. This was really not that classy.”

• The hotel was very clean. It was conveniently located near the airport and a major shopping area.
• It could have used a refrigerator and free WiFi.

“I would definitely stay here again. The staff were all super nice and very helpful. The room was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.”

• It attempted to have nice stuff for a 3 star hotel.
• It was old and the stuff was not of quality for a 3 star, the bed sheets were dirty with old blood and stains, shower drain was slow, hallways noisy.

“While it looked good and all, when I turned back our sheets the site of dried old blood was a bit disturbing and our other sheets had nasty stains on them too. The room was older and in need of repair. Room crowded. Drain in shower slow. The hallways were extremely noisy for early in the morning. All in all it was an ok hotel but not what I would expect from a Hilton. When I complained about the sheets I would expect some compensation from staff but none was given.”

• I liked the pool, location, comfy bed and pillows.
• None.

“We had a great stay, although short, but the hotel fit our needs. It was clean, attractive, and comfortable for our family and we would stay again.”

• The pool area was great: heated indoor and outdoor pool.
• The price of the breakfast buffet for adults was a couple of dollars high in my opinion.

“The front desk staff was knowledgeable and polite. The room was well appointed and clean. After losing a personal item in the restaurant, it was labeled as to where it was lost, when it was lost and then bagged and sent to housekeeping's "lost and found." When I called to check on it, it was easily retrieved. Great stay. Pool and hot tub where clean and perfect temperatures.”

• Dirty linens, apathetic staff.

“In first room, bed sheets were stained and staff handled the correction quite badly. Second room had a very dirty bathroom, so bad that it turned socks black just from walking on it. Staff did not care about issues during or after stay.”

• Located close to airport with shuttle service.
• Hard to find restaurants and shopping close to hotel.

“This hotel was everything we thought it would be. It deserves it's star rating and is located in a clean area next to MCI airport. They provide a shuttle bus to and from the airport and will allow you to park your vehicle at the hotel for a nominal fee. We had a pleasant stay.”

• Easy to find and easy to get in and out.
• Got cold water a couple of minutes into my first shower.

“Very easy to access, good for traveling professionals or a quick stay in KC. Restaurant and bar a bit expensive and pretentious for the businesslike atmosphere of the hotel.”

• Soft pillows.
• Not family friendly at all.

“Typical Hilton hotel. I can't believe they still charge $10.00 for wireless internet. Almost all other hotels offer it for free. Comfortable beds and rooms. Bathrooms need a little work and some drywall repair is needed especially on the ceilings where it looks like there are brown water stains.”

• Wonderfully comfortable bed and bedding; good climate control.
• The TV remote did not work, and the TV itself was unpredictable.

“Beautiful furnishings, spacious room, great bed. Bathroom a little outdated and hot water was a problem. Mechanical difficulties with TV. Friendly staff.”

• There are absolutely no restaurants or fast food within 5 miles.

• No continental breakfast and no refrigerator in room.

“Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, close to airport, coffee in room, and indoor pool for the kids. They did not have a refrigerator in the room and there was no continental breakfast like many of the other hotels in the area.”

• Loved the LG flat screen TV's.
• Exterior needs some improvement for appeal.

“I was very surprised at this older hotel. I had stayed there over 20 years ago. It has been upgraded very nicely. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again.”
