• Convenient location.
• Dirty, doors, drawers did not work properly.

“I will never stay in this hotel again. rooms and hallways were dirty. drawers and doors in room did not work properly. bathroom flooded. continental breakfast was the worst I've ever had. 2 of 4 days no eggs, toaster did not toast, did not stock utensils to eat with. would highly recommend this being pulled from your list of acceptable hotels.”

• Nothing and I ended up not staying there. I am looking into a refund or partial refund.
• Quality, cleanliness, lack of updates, friendliness of staff, towels, shower curtains I could go on and on.

“This was my first time but I could not and would not expect anyone else to stay in this type of environment. We ended up having to find another hotel. I understand this is a discounted rate but it was still too much.”

“Mirrors were dirty... carpet very worn and had ridges in it. Non smoking room bedding smelled like smoke. Tub in bathroom not clean.”

• Nice continental breakfast. Nice little pool. Near interstate.
• Entire hotel smelled like smoke.

“Like I mentioned, the entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. The continental breakfast was nice and made the stay better. Our room had dog hair all over the floor and bathroom when we arrived. We reported the issue and they cleaned it up shortly after. The room was a smoking room and you could see smoke stains all over everything. It's just hard to think of a room as clean when it has a yellow ceiling. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful.”

• Um! It kept the rain off my head.
• Filthy, unsafe, smelly. The whole experience was horrible.

“The room was FILTHY!!!!! Mold in the shower and coating the shower curtain rings. Our door wouldn't close properly and housekeeping left it open all day when we were gone. Their so called wireless Internet was non-existent. The staff was lethargic and uncooperative. The whole place reeked of smoke. I wanted to leave but had already paid so much money!”

• Good Coffee.
• Room was a Smoking room, I could not breathe very well in this room.

“Hotel was in a good location, and a good value, however the room that I got was a smoking room, and it smelled really bad. I could not hardly get any sleep, because of the smoky smell, and the hard mattress.”

• Ants in the room, breakfast room smelled, carpet was dirty.

“This hotel was BAD!!! My room in 303 had ants, room had 2 TV, one worked and one did not. Room where breakfast was served smelled, part of carpet in room was wet, another part was hard (do not know what was on it), the vanity's light was out. Told the staff, not sure if they cared, no apology was given. They said that they are spraying for ants, and my room was the only that was not done.”

• Location relative to shopping and restaurants. Free continental breakfast.
• Walls seemed thin so noise traveled through walls. Needs lots of repair work.

“The hotel is located on Shawnee Mission and I35, which is near plenty of shopping and restaurants and a short 15 minute drive to the Mission area of Kansas City. The hotel features a continental breakfast that lacks fruit choices but has plenty of carbohydrates to choose from. The hotel seems to need a lot of repairs and has pretty thin walls so bring your ear plugs. The staff is very friendly and helpful.”

• Good location, good breakfast, nice staff.
• Rooms were plain, not very cozy. Smelled like fresh paint.

“The worst part was the smell of fresh paint due to the recent remodeling. Otherwise rooms were fairly clean with reasonable accommodations”

• Easy access, no problem getting late check-out.
• Didn't have free internet access in rooms and had to go to the lobby & it wasn't available when I needed it.

“Obvious renovation taking place, but was clean. Wasn't asked at check-in smoking room preference.”

“The hotel was under construction and therefore our experience may not result in a fair evaluation. Rooms were not especially clean and ceiling had water damage. The inside was definitely in need of the remodel that it was undergoing.”

• Location was good
• Room had not been cleaned-other areas not particularly clean either. But they gave us another room.

“The hotel was OK-just OK. Room was not ready at 9 at night so they had to give us another. (New cleaning crew they said). Continental breakfast was just OK as well. Nothing special to recommend this other than location which was convenient!”

• Although near a busy interstate, the motel was really very quiet
• The ice machine on the floor we stayed on was broken
