• Convenient location, attractive outside, beds OK.
• Smells bad, not real clean, not 2.5 star quality- unfair rating.

“Would have been OK except it felt dirty because of the smell. Everything was old and in need of upkeep. The hotel was OK for what we paid for it but definitely expected more from the pictures it shows on it's website. My son (9) actually said "where did they get those pictures that you showed us from their website?" It was definitely a let-down.”

• Cleanliness and dated. Sheets were dirty.

“Would not
go at this hotel again. The hotel is in need of updating, and not at all appealing. Room was not clean, and linens were dirty. Food at restaurant was not good at all.”

• The bedding is very comfortable. The lobby/common area is beautiful. Enjoyed the fireplace.
• Bathroom is not as updated as the rest, but fine.

“This is a great hotel to stay in. It is right off a major highway. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel. Very comfortable, some would say posh. All areas of the hotel were very clean.”

• The first room had an awful odor and I requested another room. Well-lit parking space was hard to find.

• Room comfort was nice enough.
• Mattress was terrible. AC was loud even on low.

“Found a hair on a pillow when we got into the room. The mattress was a cheap or old mattress with a foam pad. My wife and I could feel each others every movement in the king size bed. My spouse could feel it when I scratched my nose. Other than the hair on the pillow and the mattress quality, and the AC being extremely loud, it was nice.”

• The water pressure in the shower.
• The rooms were not described accurately, the amenities described were not available to us.

“The beds were described to me over the phone as queen size but they were actually full size. We were two adults and 2 children and were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. When i asked if i could add a connecting room, I was told that the room connected to us was sold. Why couldn't they put us in different rooms? No one was very accomodating. We were literally flooded with water during a rain storm one evening during our stay. My daughter, who was in a crib by the window was drenched during the night. The only response to this was, "I will let maintenance know". Any time that i spoke with the front desk about certain amenities that should have been available. ie. free breakfast for the children, etc. The in room coffee was never refilled when the room had its daily cleaning, and the cleaning was not that thorough. We were definately not impressed or comfortable.”
