• The breakfast of fresh waffles was great and saved us money.
• Not a special area and the pool wasn't heated.

“This is a basic hotel. Nothing stands out as good or bad. Climate control is one of those below window units. Location is next to the interstate but noise was ok.”

• It was extremely close to the place I was visiting.
• It smelled Smokey in the halls.

“Convenient to the south side of KC, this hotel is a no-frills choice for lodging. The property is fairly old and could stand a bit of updating, but the rooms were clean, and it was comfortably quiet. For those sensitive to smoke, there is a caution: rooms presently sold as no smoking have not always been that way, so you can get a non-smoking room with residual smells of smoke. There is a Denny's just in front of the hotel and hundreds of other places to dine within a few blocks of the hotel.”

• Fresh paint in our room and large TV.
• My head hit the ceiling when I was showering in the tub.

“This is an older hotel that is in the process of being repainted. Our room was large and had a king sized bed. I like the idea of the sink in a different room from the tub and toilet. There was a 4-6" drop from the bottom of the tub to the floor. I am 6'5" and my head hit the ceiling in the tub. The breakfast was ok. I would rate it as a 1 star hotel.”

• Location.
• The room was not clean, the staff was not knowledgeable, and the hotel was shabby all around.

“We were given a room with two beds and I had reserved a room with one bed. The room's bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly. The paint was chipping off the hotel, the carpet was old, and the parking lot was old. Plus, what is the purpose of reserving a room if you don't get what you've reserved?”

“Easy to find off the highway. Halls were dirty and the carpet needed to be stretched. Room was quiet, comfortable, and reasonably clean.”

• The evening receptionist bent over backwards to fix our check-in problem.
• The hotel was fine - however, did not work out so well - only one of our two reservations was on the books at the hotel.

“Again - hotel was great - however, when we arrived, the hotel only had one of our two reservations and the name spelling on it was incorrect.”

• Staff seemed unorganized. Issued the room we were in, to another couple, that came into our room with us in it.

• Would have preferred access to a microwave somewhere within the facility.

• The location was good.
• Expected a little nicer quality.

“The staff was friendly. The rooms were in need of updating. Cigarette burns were in a few places. It was not the quality we were expecting upon entering.”

• They had make your own malt waffles every morning. The room were nice size and the staff very friendly.
• They were unable to get my mothers room next to ours. She was at one end of the hall and we were at the other.
