• Clean rooms, homey feel, nice pool area, good location.
• We held a family reunion there. There were some guests who drank beer at the pool area. I do not feel that is appropriate for a family friendly hotel.

“The hotel was very clean and well equipped rooms. The staff was nice, patient and very willing to help. The meeting room is very small so we were not able to have the entertainment that we wanted for our group. That would be the only reason I would not choose this location for future family reunions. We enjoyed our stay in the rooms and the pool area. Even enjoyed sitting on the front porch!”

• Friendly & Helpful Staff very clean and comfy!
• Far from the beach, not their fault though!

“From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The staff received us with open arms and worked very hard to please us in any way! It was great, even though we wanted to stay near Galveston Beaches, I wouldn't have traded this stay for any other. ”

• Very easy location and great atmosphere.
• Need bigger sign on the road.

• Lot of Hotel for the money. I had a bedroom, living room, Kitchenette for $80.
• Fire alarm (false alarm) goes off early in the morning.

“It is a little hard to find, but was a very nice hotel. It wasn't on a major interstate but between I 45 and Texas 3 south of Houston. Lot's of room for the money. Clean. Staff a little green but that may be a sign of the time in aftermath of the 2 hurricanes.”

• Large, comfortable rooms, great breakfast bar.
• Poor lighting in most rooms, particularly bathroom.

“Great room, amenities, staff. Although I did not use the kitchen facilities, I did notice some food left in the sink and a slice of old meat in the dish washer that took away from the overall excellent experience.”
