  • Housekeeping staff was terrible.

“My room was not cleaned daily, coffee was not refurbished daily, room had wet moldy smell unless air conditioning was running.”

  • Lady at front desk was friendly and helpful.
  • No continental breakfast.

“Pro: this hotel is conveniently accessible from I-45 in south Houston. Wired internet worked fine. Friendly staff. No continental breakfast. All rooms face out to parking lot. Haphazard housecleaning had to ask for replacement towels, coffee, cups. Missing microwave plate, no utensils or dishes, cable too short to allow TV to face bed. Tiny room. Bottom line: if you need a cheap place to sleep, it doesn't get much cheaper than this. You do get what you pay for, though.”

  • There was nothing good to say about this hotel.
  • This was the worst hotel (if you can call it that) I have ever stayed at.

“Worst hotel in the USA! Stay away if you value your health there is blood and hair on the sheets. Urine stains on the toilets. Overall I suggest everyone should stay as far away from this hell hole as possible. The staff was not only rude but they truly let you know that they could care less about your stay. I contacted the health department about this place. I stay all over the country and this is by far the worst place I have ever been in. I would rather stay in a homeless shelter than this place. At least the shelter would be far cleaner than this place (safer too).”

  • None.
  • Terrible place I have ever met.

“Location is good, but room is very small. The bed is inconvenient; green mold is covered on the ceiling of the bathroom; smell is stinky; no breakfast; no basic room service (for instance, they did not exchange even towels; no remote controller for TV); ice machine did not work. I don't like to go there again.”

  • The location.
  • Asked for non-smoking, room smelled of heavy smoke. Mold in the coffee pot.

“Although the price was convenient I was not all impressed with the Howard Johnson. The outside of the hotel looked hopeful until we stepped inside the room itself. We asked for a non-smoking room and the room reeked of smoke, and also found a cigarette bud on the floor. There was no coffee for the coffee maker which also had a dirty filter with molding coffee still left inside. We didn't watch much television but when we did it would have been nice to use a remote rather than getting up and manually changing the channel.”
