• Very clean spacious rooms. Front desk staff is extremely helpful.
• Tables were too close in the continental breakfast area.

• The hotel double charges me.

“It is a very bad experience that they charge me twice. I called them the next day. They said they were sorry for the mistake and they will correct it right away. But after two weeks I still don't see the credit back.”

• Proximity to the airport with 24 hour shuttle.
• No dining options on site.

“Great for Business travelers. Location is close to Hobby with 24 hour free airport shuttle (dropped me off at 4 am the morning of my flight) and will take you and pick you up anywhere within 5 miles.”

• Suites need to have divided closable sleeping area.

• Free high speed internet and the room was set up like a suite.
• Location was a little tough to find.

“Good clean room w/ desk to work at and kitchenette. Close to the airport for easy in and out and reasonably close to the south Loop Road and our office. I would look forward to staying here again.”

“Room was damp and clammy. Breakfast was good and varied, but, the organization of the breakfast was lousy. You would get to one place and then have to back up to get what goes with what you got.”

• The breakfast was better than most and free fruit was nice.
• Pool was being cleaned for half of stay.

“This hotel was conveniently located to the airport and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and open for longer than expected. The workout facility had nice equipment. We were traveling to NASA Space Center and this hotel was convenient and also nicer than hotels that were closer.”

• Great Location near Houston's Hobby Airport and the Gulf Freeway.
• Typical small room passed off as a suite and no nearby restaurants.

“I would rate Springhill Suites as a 3 star hotel. The wireless internet access was definitely a hit. The breakfast would also be a hit for business travelers or even families traveling with children. This would relieve them of trying to find someplace in the area for breakfast. I am happy they accepted my offer.”

• Tempered beds are an option, they have kitchens with refry and microwave in each room.
• This hotel is hard to locate off the exit and is behind an abandoned diner.

“This hotel is perfect for those who are interested in sleeping comfort and a home feeling. Rooms are very spacious with a large sitting room. There is an outdoor pool and small workout gym.”

“I was only offered a smoking room. When I asked for a non-smoking room, I was told that the hotel was booked full even though I could tell the parking lot was nowhere near full at 12:00 AM!”

• The hotel was first class all the way.
• Weekend group of travelers was too rowdy and made pigs of themselves with the breakfast buffet.

“The hotel was located conveniently along my business travel routes. A little hick-up connecting to wireless service but after that things went fine. Staff was very helpful A group of family reunion people arrived and made pigs of themselves at the breakfast buffet, even allowing their children to touch the food with their hands, yuk! Other than that, a GREAT buy for the money. Should be rated 3 stars.”
