• No restaurant but good recommendations & accommodations for travel to restaurants.

“Good choice for business travel. Shuttle arrived quickly, clean and comfortable room, and restaurant was good considering airport location. I'd stay there again.”

• Clean, no smoke.
• Cramped room layout, with narrow opening into bedroom area.

“Watch out for the breakfast they offer. They don't have a full-service restaurant and the buffet does not indicate any prices or menu, but it is not free. I felt scammed, and I will avoid this hotel now. I have stayed at the big Marriott next door many times, and you can get a much better breakfast for the same price there. If you want to drop $12 for breakfast, walk next door to the big hotel.”

• That was the most comfortable bed.
• The location is convenient to Hobby, but it is not in a pretty place.

“The service was good and the front desk people were very polite and helpful. Awesome bed. I was there to relax and I did not want to get out of that bed.”

• Loved the pool out by my balcony and very easy to find.
• The only thing was the double beds, I wished they were queen instead of full size.

• Computer in lobby not effective.

“Hotel was good, but access to the hotel was not so easy, out and in back to the hotel means travels one full round about 2 miles - not occasion in the bathroom quite small. Hope that helps.”

• Location near area of business.
• Room was crowded for the star level.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is mediocre at best and not worth the price. Embassy Suites has the same breakfast and complimentary. The room was a bit small with the fold out couch. Though the lobby is nice and well appointed. Overall, very clean and comfortable enough. Just expected a little more from the Marriot.”

• The beds are really comfortable and loaded with pillows!
• The air conditioner cuts off every time it hits desired temp which wakes you up each time.

• Great layout, small balcony on room, decor neat, staff energetic.
• VERY difficult to find and get into.

“A great place for either a quiet night in a suite with a small balcony, or a fun weekend with kids in the pool. Breakfast is overpriced, but the service was excellent.”

• Clean, comfortable, convenient, good food.
• The housekeeping left my room door open with security bar in door. The bar was closed on Fri & Sat night.

“The Housekeeping supervisor gave me a free breakfast for 2 because they left my door open. Nothing was taken, so it turned out O.K. Everyone was nice & the room was clean. ”

• I felt very comfortable at the hotel while my husband worked. The pool was GREAT!
• Would have liked it if I could lock the sliding door in order to go to the pool.

“This was the perfect place to stay. The staff was great, very friendly & helpful. The room was nice, beds are great! Enjoyed the quiet even though the airport was close. Never heard the planes until I was at the pool, even then it wasn't loud. Very nice place to stay! Felt really safe.”

• Kept the grounds nice.
• Reservations didn't work, desk manager didn't know his job, mold in bathroom, maids left dishes and didn't take trash, charged me twice!

“Incompetent desk personnel (45 min to check-in), shoddy housekeeping (left dishes, didn't empty waste baskets, mold in the bathroom), inadequate rooms (not enough beds and/or wrong size beds). This is just too much hassle on a vacation.”

• Room service stops at 10 PM and there is no morning room service.

“A bit on the small side, only three storey, but very easy to get to from the airport. The shuttle is every 30 minutes to Houston Hobby Airport except in the later hours when it is on call. It is close to the airport and I-45 makes it a great property if you need to travel across the city. I heard no airport noise in my room facing the inner courtyard. It seems to be quite new. Carpet, furniture, linens all appear to be new. Room had coffee and tea, a great air conditioner, the bathroom was large and plenty of light and mirrors. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board were welcome additions. Overall, a very nice experience at this hotel.”

• This hotel was convenintly located to attractions in Houston and Galveston both.
• Pool was slightly dirty but probably due to a storm and trees. Not skimmed

“This Hotel met our expectations. We were not offered a choice of room but fortunately were given an non-smoking room. Unfortunately we had a room with two doubles instead of a King. The breakfast Buffet was good and fairly priced.”
