“Hotel is actually very nice, and the employees were very helpful. The room was also very nice though a little dated.”

“Room is nice, place is clean. Good location for south Houston. Feel safe. Charging for internet access I feel is sleazy for an upscale hotel. This is something even the budget hotels include these days.”

“I stayed in the hotel for 1 night. The pool was closed and my family was very disappointed. The hotel did not have hot water when we tried to shower in the morning, so we were forced to go through the day with no showers.”

“First of all, when I tried to log onto the internet with my laptop, I found out that they charged $12.95 a day for high speed internet service, when they advertise that they have high speed internet available (they don't mention the extra charge). After falling asleep, we were awakened at 11:00 pm by a woman who asked, did you call us?". We hadn't made any calls, so we reported the incident to the desk. They asked if she was wearing a uniform and we said no. They told us that she was not a hotel employee, and that their policy was not to knock on doors, and if they need to contact us, they would do so by phone. Instead of offering to report the incident to security, they said if it happened again for us to call back, and they would notify security. Then next morning at 9:00 am, we were disturbed by maid service wanting to clean our room, it seemed like all they were interested in was money, and not the comfort and convenience of their guests. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a quiet, peaceful stay, or, if you plan to use the internet.”

“Internet connectivity was very important to me - as a business traveler - charging a high fee for this is a deal-breaker.”

“This hotel was clean and functional. There were a few missed details that were somewhat annoying. When I made coffee the first morning and used the cream and sugar packet, they never refilled the cream and sugar. When I requested more sugar from the maid, she said she did not carry it on her cart and later brought up a container of sugar obviously from one of the restaurants. My question is where did the original package of sugar, creamer, stir sticks come from? This is the first hotel room I can ever recall that had only one trash can in the room. On more than one occasion I tried to call their "At your convenience" desk to order room service and was unable to reach anyone. One time I called repeatedly for about 20 minutes before someone picked up. Another time I gave up and went down to the restaurant. The line was definitely not "at my convenience". Also, the room was made up later in the day than I would have liked. On two days, I returned to the hotel mid-afternoon and the room was just being made up.”

“Older large hotel with nice rooms, quiet on weekends, pool tends to be busy so may be employees or drop-ins during weekend.”

“Not the worst motel I've ever stayed in, but close. Not being native to the area, I wonder about the safety after a 4 am awaking between gang members and their girlfriends just outside my door. Most things worked okay. WiFi quit working for a time. Bath tub dripped. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. At least the bed was comfortable.”

“My husband and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay, were comfortable, and pampered. The service was great. There was no fridge in the room, that was my only complaint. Everything was great!”
