• Cheap but in this instance you get what you pay for.
• Dirty hotel with shady dealings going on outside the front door.

“Didn't feel safe. The room and staff weren't the best. Just wouldn't stay there ever again. Worried all night if we would be sweeping up glass in the parking lot.”

• This hotel was more than I expected.
• The computers in the business office were slow and needed upgrading for speed

“The hotel was in an excellent location to the airport. I did not dine there so I cannot comment on the restraunt. Parking was free so that was a plus. They were remodeling the hotel but I heard no noise. I did notice that the hotel was only placing customers on the floors that had been remodeled. That was a plus also.”

• Hotel staff was courteous, hotel is easily accessible to major highway.
• The hotel was in bit of reconstruction, after hurricane Ike.

“The Holiday Inn Hobby Airport is a very accommodating hotel. The rooms, swimming pool (outdoor), lobby areas, and staff are nice and well worth the money. Wi-Fi Internet is offered, and it actually is high speed. The hotel is easily accessible to a major thoroughfare and is very close to Hobby International Airport. Restaurants and shopping are not too far a drive away, as well.”

• They have to offer free internet as opposed to other three star hotels.
• Staff took forever to pick up the phone, when I wanted to ask a question.

• Carpet in hallway was loose and bunching up.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. The covered parking area was lit and felt safe. It was great having bottled water in the room-we drank them each day.”

• Rude staff, would not provide shuttle to different hotel, nor airport.

“We had to stay at a different hotel, closer to airport and newly remodeled. We were treated badly. It was a terrible experience and I am very unhappy.”

“I was on a half smoking floor yet the smoke resonated throughout the entire floor. As soon as I opened the door you could smell it. The food service was timely and the offer of different kinds of pillows were nice.”

• Clean, pleasant room; fine pool area.
• Restaurant open only for dinner; wireless didn't connect.

“The wireless connection might have been simple if I had asked for help, but it wasn't that important to me on this trip. In general, all service was friendly and prompt. Great pillows!”

• Bed linens were not very nice.

“Stayed here to prevent commute to airport. Mediocre front desk staff, bed linens were scratchy with and old comforter (the kind that usually does not get washed). Decent for a short stay, but I'd probably go somewhere else next time.”

• It was relatively cheap.
• Most of the amenities were broken, washer dryer, elevator, remote control.

“This Is as most Holiday Inns are a 1 to 2 star at best. The neighborhood was dangerous, Strip clubs and Pan Handlers everywhere. Every amenity was broken in my room and the fire alarm went on 2 of the 4 nights I staged there. Stay away from this hotel.”

• Very convenient to everything. Free breakfast for kids.
• No bellman.

“Staff was very friendly. The bed was wonderful. I was afraid I would here airplanes/ noise, but there was none. I slept like a baby with all those pillows.”
