“Room was clean, bed comfortable. Pool was closed and had been all week. Restaurant was great! Great food and great service. Overall, I was very upset there was no pool as we had to spend most of our time in the room.”

• Convenient for my needs in Tyler.
• Mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom.

“The hotel needs renovations. Lots of mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Restaurant only open for breakfast until 10 a.m. Otherwise, room was clean, had free internet and nice location.”

• Scenery outside the hotel. Off the main road, cozy environment.
• Rooms were a little small. Room needed to be cleaned a little better.

• You have grossly overpriced this motel.

“Hotel looks unchanged since the '80's. First room smelled very musty and mildewed. Switched rooms, second room smelled musty also. Shower/commode room was very poorly painted (missed areas, overspray, etc.); shower tub floor needed scrubbing bleaching. No mine fridge. TV remote did not work. Got replacement from front desk. Glass windows on front of all rooms were dirty. Dead crickets and bugs along walkway in front of rooms (second floor). On a Friday morning, employees lounged around near restaurant smoking and talking. Manager on duty was dressed sloppily. No free breakfast.”

“Good rate. Not for the business traveler. Rooms are not easy to access from parking lot. Does not feel safe. Stick with Hampton or quality inn in Tyler instead.”

• The room furnishings were nice and the bed was comfortable.
• The non-smoking room still smelled like a smoking room. It was musty as well.

• It was to close to where I needed to go.

• It was close to UT Tyler.
• Room unclean, grounds unkempt, pool not available.

“Found cig butts under bed, spiders in all corridors, no trash cans, toilet paper holder kept coming out of wall, dressers fronts dirty, grounds over run with weeds, walkways dirty, pool was not avail due to cleaning the entire time,& pool was needed at this time of year. Left day early because couldn't stand the room any longer. Staff at check-in unfriendly & felt like we are being shunned because room purchased thru your company. Won't stay there again.”

• Rooms were not made up in a reasonable time, when I go to work at 7:00am; I like to return to a clean room at 3:00pm.

“When I entered the lobby, there was a definite bad order. It was still there when I left. I refused to eat there because of this. The first morning I was awoken by a fight in the parking lot directly outside my room. Rewards, the staff said that since I booked through an internet company that it was your responsibility to make sure I got my travel rewards, not theirs'.”

• They had chocolate covered strawberries at the check-out.
• The room was dirty, moldy, and the paint was old and you could tell where the ceiling had fallen in and been badly patched.

“If you just need a bed to sleep in for a few hours then stop here. Cheap.”

• Average hotel - nothing to write home about***.
• The room I reserved wasn't available had to go to another room.

“Staff was some what helpful, rooms were not that clean. Upon check out my Name had another address attached to it. I questioned the clerk& manager about it & they didn't have an answer. I left with my receipt- with some other address attached to my Name.”

• Old, worn, pool was closed.

“This was a disappointment. The pool had been closed for some time and my young kids went ballistic I can look past a lot but the pool was pretty key.”
