“It was an okay hotel for the money. The location is great and everything was in working order. It is older and shows it.”

“It was close to everything and ok to stay at the noise level wasn't too bad. The lobby was constantly filled with people looked like visitors for staff not guests and the laundry was folding laundry in the coffee shop area. The room was super tiny once the window curtains were closed I was a little claustrophobic (spell) but it suited my purpose.”

“I was a bit gun shy about staying at the Alexandria days inn after reading reviews from what previous customers posted about this hotel (unfriendly staff, check-in being a nightmare, odor of cat urine in the room, etc.). We did not experience any of these problems. The hotel management must review the posts left by customers. Our check-in was seamless, and the hotel clerk was friendly and accommodating. It took less than 5 minutes to check in. The hotel was clean although it is showing its age. But, for the price we paid, I still shouldn't complain. The hotel room itself was small and felt cramped, but it was clean. The bathroom was even smaller, but again, clean. Check out was even quicker. We did not partake of the included breakfast, but it looked ok: cereals, bagels and Danishes. This hotel is rated as a 2 star which seems a little high but may be because of the nice pool. There were families staying at the hotel the night we were there and the kids were having a blast in the pool. There is a super 8 hotel next door that was rated as a 1 star and cost $5 more per night than the Days inn. I read the customer reviews on the super 8 and they talked about a newly renovated appearance. Maybe that's the reason for the additional $5 charge. For our purposes (a basic hotel room for a good night's sleep midway through a long trip), the days inn was fine.”

“Rooms are very small, TVs need to be upgraded. No hook up for vicar or DVD. Could not rent movies. The staff was very unpleasant and unhelpful. Some of our lights worked, had to change our own light bulbs though. Nice to be the maintained person. Make sure to order the double queen beds or you won't beagle to move in your room.”

“I was not at all happy; The staff did not know how to check us in. It took over 25 min. And she swore and was getting very upset.”
