• Friendly, helpful staff--at check in and the breakfast crew
• The bathtub didn't exactly drain perfectly--that's the only thing I can think of

“I would highly recommend the Warwick. It is just a few steps from both the north and the south bound light rail stops. It is less than a mile from the Texas Medical Center and across the street from Rice University. The staff was uniformly courteous and helpful, the rooms clean and well-appointed.”

• Great older property with a lot of charm.
• Parking is a tad inconvenient and pricey

“Loved the Warwick--a great older propoerty with charm and great staff. I was working at Rice University and this hotel was ideally located for that purpose. Beds were great--everything met my expectations.”

• The staff was extremely helpful. They would always give a courtesy call after we'd order dinner, just to make sure it met our expectations.
• The room was a little cramped.

“First of all, this hotel is very beautiful; from the moment you see it from the street you feel its elegance. Another thing is that the staff greets you personally, opens doors for you, and are always prompt about getting things done. The next time I am in the Houston area, I would love to stay at the Warwick.”

• room service order took 3 trips to get right, NO HOT WATER NIGHT OR DAY

“Great staff and beautiful historic hotel. We checked in around 8:00 P.M., ordered a salad and shrimp martini, wine and coffee...got red wine not Zin...only 1 silver service and no dressing on the side as requested...after dinner I went to shower and had a cold to lukewarm shower...I thought it might just be the time of evening but when my mom ran the tap the next morning it was the same even in the bathroom sink...she skipped her shower...we did not complain because we were only there for a limited amount of time.”

“The Warwick is a prestigious hotel and lives up to its name. A beautiful building with antiques and as you walk in the main lobby. The only problem I found was that the room was quite small. Other than that we had a great stay.”
