• I liked the beds, fridge and microwave, and the quiet.
• No swimming pool.

“Was there to antique shop with my girlfriend from 8/22/08 to 8/26/08. Room with 2 queen beds, mattresses were new and slept really well. Reasonable rate. Room included fridge and microwave which we were glad to have. Everything really clean. Husband and wife owners were kind and helpful. Room was cleaned every day. On south side of town, away from traffic. Washer-dryer available. Restaurant's open place in the evenings was good place to eat. Plan to stay here again.”

• Cheap, close to the highway.
• Dirty, few amenities.

“This place was bad. I understand that not all cleaning staff will be diligent enough to clean the corners of the bathroom floors, but this place had stains, other people's hair, someone else's dirty towel left on the back of the door and about half a dozen flies in the room that we didn't let in ourselves. I thought I'd have a cup of coffee, but the coffee pot hadn't been cleaned of the last dozen visitor's coffee residue. The billboard driving in to town said restaurant on site but it closes at 9:00, so if you're getting in late, you're sorely out of options. The breakfast is cornflakes, fruit loops, or mini-bagels/muffins.”

• The room was clean. The coffee was hot.
• The recliner was shabby, all torn up, broken.

“You get less than what you pay for. The next hotel (Houston Days Inn Galleria) was cleaner but we had to cancel our stay due to the rudeness of the other guests as the hotel manager did nothing to stop them from yelling and screaming all night long. I was having surgery that week and needed a quiet place to recover.”
