Hampton Inn & Suites Houston-Medical Center/Astrodome is located between Texas Medical Center and AstroDomain, 1 mile north of I-610 South. Other area attractions include 6 Flags Astroworld/Waterworld, the biggest entertainment complex in Texas, golf courses, the zoological gardens, museums, sporting events, shopping and designer boutiques, Sam Houston Race Park, and Space Center Houston, 27 miles southeast of the hotel. Within .5 mile you can dine at Luby's Cafeteria, Steak 'n Shake, or Subway.

We feature 120 rooms, including two-bedroom suites, Jacuzzi suites, king with micro-fridge, and king office, exercise facility and outdoor pool. Each room is equipped with iron/boards, coffee makers, and hair dryers. We also offer a Suite Shop, a Manager's Reception (Wed. p.m.), and shuttle service to/from the medical center.

Amenities include complimentary continental breakfast bar every morning in our spacious lobby, free local calls, TV with cable, cribs, and refrigerators. Laundry/valet services, guest laundromat, meeting/banquet facilities, and connecting rooms are available for a nominal fee.[less]

Large bathroom with security bars in shower and comfortable chairs, bed, and bedding.
We wanted adjoining rooms close to pool.

“This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We have stayed in many Houston hotels while receiving medical treatments at MD Anderson. Usually they were nice but extremely pricey. This hotel, which included breakfast, was reasonable and had comfort for us all.”

Room setup was good.
Clock radio did not play music but the alarm worked.

“Convenient to M.D. Anderson hospital with a shuttle bus running frequently. The hotel is what I expected from a Hampton inn.”
