• Nice, convenient location, the shuttle bus to the medical center was right on time for my husband and myself.
• I know it was a bit late when we checked in but I request a wake up call for about 6 am and no one called us, need to have away to set an alarm.

“The hotel was very nice, the staff was courteous and helpful, very clean and convenient. The hotel needs a better variety of menus, pizza isn't my favorite food but it seemed all the menus there was for pizza and one menu for Chinese food but when I called that number several times no one answered.”

• Very efficient room with many amenities I did not expect.

“I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. From my previous experience at another hotel near the Med. Center this was Heaven and then some.”

• Close to Metro Rail Station. Shuttle to Texas Medical Center.
• A little run down. Rusty refrigerator.

“Close to the Reliant Park Metro Station. Free Shuttle Bus to the Texas Medical Center. Kitchenette is good for extended stays.”

• It was convenient to the Reliant.
• Unfriendly staff, dirty, requests weren't fulfilled.

“We arrived after the hotel had been closed for an hour & the employee working the front desk was totally inconvenienced by us being there. We had asked at reservation time to be next to our friends and the employee acted like that was not even an option. The room was not clean & didn't get cleaned the next day. The only thing good about this hotel was it was close to the Reliant where we were going to Super cross Races.”

• Location was convenient and kitchens had all necessary utensils.
• Rooms were slightly dirty, needed minor renovation.

“Very good price and location, directly across from Reliant Park and very close to a Metro stop. Rooms were slightly dirty and slightly aged. Not for those seeking a great experience at a hotel, great for those who need to be close to Reliant Park.”

• Excellent price for great accommodations and location.
• Some of the appliances didn't work lamps.

“The hotel by far exceeded my expectations. I was unsure what the hotel would look like and had never stayed at a similar hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the location and all the amenities that it provided.”

• Very good location. Felt safe. Nice grounds.
• The room was not very nice, unpleasant smell,

“The location of the hotel was great; we needed to be close to mad Anderson cancer center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are nice, neat and attractive. We were given a room early, before check in time, but the only room available was a smoking room, which we decided to take. This probably accounts for the unpleasant smell of the room. The room was basic, but did have a small kitchen. I would describe the condition of the room as shabby. You pay extra for housekeeping if you stay less than a week.”

• The hotel is right on the metro rail line, very convenient. Very quiet. No car needed. Kitchenette is very nice.
• No restaurants or within 6 blocks. Must pick up food for kitchen.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in town who likes to cook for themselves. Well stocked kitchenettes work well.”

• I liked that is was so close to public transportation.
• There was no pool, if you wanted it.

“For the price, you can not beat this hotel. It had a kitchen, which saved us a lot of money, instead of eating out every meal.”

• The air condition smelt very bad. We could not switch on the ac at all. The carpet was wet and was not that clean.

“The hotel staff could be more friendly and welcoming. They could improve upon the air-conditioning and change and clean up all their beds & comforters then it could be rated better.”

• I am thankful I only reserved it for two days.
• Room looked shabby. Internet not free. Other people were out on balcony until after 11pm.

“If I have any say I will never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone. People in next room and from downstairs out on balcony until after 11pm. Unable to get anyone at front desk to answer the phone and get these people to shut up and go to bed. Room appeared shabby. Pillow cases felt clean, but looked yellow stained. To not offer free high speed internet in this day and time is unforgivable. Take this hotel off your list as one to offer your customers. Please!”

• It is located in a high traffic area.

“This hotel is located near reliant stadium/center, the astrodome and various medical facilities. If you are going to one of those locations, this hotel is perfect. If you are not going to one of those locations, avoid this place. It took me 2 hours to travel 4 miles from the grocery store to the hotel because of a monster truck jam at the adjacent stadium!”
