• Close to the hospitals.
• Beds are hard.

“My dad was in the hospital in Houston. I needed to book for one more night and they did not have any more rooms. I had to find another motel. Not happy.”

• The staff members are not very helpful; the accounting department is not friendly.

• Free high speed internet as well as microwave and refrigerator present in the room.
• The bedding, towels and furniture were below satisfactory. Maybe this was indicative of the type of hotel that it was. I've never stayed at a B. W.

“This hotel is good, if you just need a quick place to stay and easy access to the Houston Medical Center. If you need an affordable hotel in this location, I would prefer someplace like the Spring Hill Suites in the Medical Center. The environment is much nicer and more comfortable.”

• The room was very nice and clean.
• They over charged me and said I did not pay in advance. Then they said I paid but not the full price, so they charge me additional money.

“I will not stay at this hotel again because when I tried to get my bill straighten out. The manager was very rude to me.”

• Good water pressure and the staff were very helpful.
• Nice sheets.

“My husband was having surgery and the hotel was very close to were we had to go. The staff was also very helpful in telling us information.”

• Clean, hotel cleaning staff friendly and considerate.
• One person at the front desk was polite. The other three were rude and unfriendly.

• Both public areas and room very clean and pleasant. Lots of polished granite in lobby. Great bed.
• Breakfast not very healthy; no protein of any kind except yogurt and cream cheese. Not copious.

“Picked hotel for proximity to Texas Medical Center, and there is an hourly, free shuttle to and from the hospitals. Pleasantly surprised by the upscale aspect of the public areas, the availability of free computer access, coin laundry, and free local calls. Neither restaurant, nor any food stores nearby, which is inconvenient for a longer stay. We arrived not knowing how long our stay would be, and management were accommodating in extending our reservation day to day. Other reviews complained about hard beds, but that's how we like them! Beds seem new; the decor is basic but good enough, standard King room is spacious. All in all a very satisfactory experience, close to all medical facilities and the light rail system of public transportation as well.”

• Could not give directions or recommend restaurants.

“The hotel was clean, presentable and the front desk staff was friendly although they could not answer any questions we had about Houston. Did not know where anything was and could not recommend restaurants except fast food.”
