• Large room with kitchenette and fireplace was nice.
• Hard to get across the busy street and the construction next door. Would have been better if TV was bigger.

• Hotel is neat, clean, friendly staff.
• It did not have fitness center which I was disappointed.

“Hotel is nice for family people not for business people. For me, it is not suitable since there is NO fitness center (on website they show that they have a fitness center which was misleading and I was quite disappointed). The hotel is more like an apartment, no elevators to go on 2nd floor, especially, who have problems to climb the stairs.”

• The price.
• Staff lied.

“The room smelled like fish. Lots of ants in the bathroom all over the counter. We were told that the courtesy van would pick us up after an event and given a number to call. When we did call we were told by different staff they stopped picking up hours before. They knew what event we were going to when they gave us the phone number and it was 4-5 blocks from the hotel. They told several others checking in the same thing.”

• Excellent amenities, fridge, stove, and very roomy.
• Our room was next to a busy freeway and noise at times.

• The location was ideal to the area I was visiting.
• Really, nothing that I can think of.

“For the price I paid, I got a very clean, well-located comfortable room. I will most definitely stay there again next year.”

• Close to MD Anderson and the included breakfast. It was great!
• It was hard to find the rooms.

“The hotel has a nice equipped kitchen and it is close to a large grocery store. The pool area, although we didn't use it, was very nice.”

• Children were hardly seen or heard.

• The suite setting.
• The hotel was unacceptable for a Marriott. Very dated, color scheme cold, TV was very dated and no swivel towards bed,could not see TV while in bed.

“I have stayed in Marriott's through out the world and for this being Houston I found this one was lower level than LaQuinta.
Grounds were over grown, room was very dated and the TV did not swivel towards the bed. It was on a low table and could not be seen while lying flat!
The pool bottom had two big chip's out of the floor! Needed more handicap access”

• Morning staff was not friendly.

“Assistant general manager & her co-worker front desk were not friendly at all. Terrible customer service. 2 from the staff were very nice & friendly, unlike the other two I mention. The entire staff from afternoon & graveyard staff were very friendly. The GM should take advise from them along with her co-worker.”
