• Absolutely nothing.
• Not at all near the airport.

“It is not near the airport. It cost more to take a cab to the hotel and to the airport than what the room costs at many other hotels with airport transportation that are also much closer to the airport.”

• Inconvenient. No shuttle. Not a good value at all.

“Difficult to reach. No shuttle. Taxi costs $35 each way. Better to pay more for a better hotel with a free shuttle.”

• The service.

“I stayed four nights and never received fresh towels. They stated they perform a light cleaning with fresh towels midweek and a full cleaning once a week. After my third night I requested fresh towels and instead found the door key turned off and the room had not been touched. The free Wi-Fi was so slow it reminded of dial up. I could not open anything except e-mail without attachments.”

• It was not clean, there was an odor in the room, the corners of the carpet were filthy, the AC did not work well (and it was 100 degrees in Houston).

• Location. Type of customers usually tended to.

“For all intended purposes, this was four walls and a bed to lie your head on. The room was not dirty but not clean. Iron and ironing board was on a first come, first served basis. No hair dryer or any extras you come to expect, even from a motel 6.”

• Room dirty & beat up. Saw a cockroach.

• No hotel van service to and from airport.

“Thought I was getting a hotel in the vicinity of the Houston Airport. The hotel offered no van service to and from airport and cab service was more expensive than the room itself. Buyer beware if you think this hotel is near Houston Intercontinental. Better off sleeping in airport.”

• Room was dirty & beat up. Saw a cockroach.

“If you need a cheap place to stay on I-45 north of Houston near IAH for one night and don't care too much about cleanliness and amenities, then Sun Suites is ok.”

• I liked the part where I was checking out knowing I'd never see this place ever again.
• The bugs and no airport shuttled.

“This hotel does not provide the airport shuttle service. It's in an area called Green point (aka "Gunpoint"). The Police set up a station at the mall just a block away due to the high crime levels. It was the worst hotel experience. Don't stay here.”

“There's no way I would recommend this facility. Listed as near Houston airport. Misleading. Dirty, bad maintenance (if at all). Incredibly loud. WiFi didn't work. Shabby is probably far too complimentary.”

• The floors need to be cleaner.

“Overall we liked the hotel and would return but in the future please see that the floors and bathroom is cleaner. We would pick this location again because it was close to where our daughter lives and was easy to get to.”

• I was what I would call a roach motel.

“Rooms were very small and dingy looking. #6 motels had larger rooms. Felt like someone was going to try and break in at any time.”

• Location and misnomer that it is an airport hotel.

“An 'airport hotel' is one located proximal to the airport, preferably at or adjacent to the airport, which requires little travel time or expenditure to reach - normally for the purpose of overnight and catching a plane the following morning. This hotel was an extended stay motel for families and works, in a location far from the airport. I was very displeased with the experience.”

• No equipment for kitchen, small room, trouble getting them to let us have a bigger bed.

“The hotel was a small approximately 12 x 12, one bed, really no kitchen, we asked for a king bed one person told us no, the other finally gave us to beds. We are two adults traveling with a 6, 4, 2 year old children, bathroom couldn't turn around in it. It was just unlike anything I had stayed in before, had foul odor, lights didn't work. We had to move light bulbs around to have lights, most of lights were unplugged.”
