• Dirty, Bugs in room, Dirty walls and shower, Smelled funny, TV didn't work, bedside lights didn't work, No elevator to reach 3rd floor, etc

“As stated above. It was dirty, there were bugs in my room, the TV and bedside lamps were not working, there was dirt on the walls, in the shower, hair in my bed, I was frankly grossed out and had to wash everything I had taken into the hotel as soon as I got home.”

• Close to a hotel near the Convention Center in which my seminar was held.
• The grout on the tub tile was mildewed.

“The grounds were nice. Hotel was convenient. Outside of room was clean. Overall the room was nice. Tub should be better. Breakfast was fine. Lobby was clean. Staff was nice. Parking was good. Room was quiet; even though hotel is close to freeway.”

• Had a very good breakfast buffet.
• My business associates room telephone did not work.

“Nice hotel. Convenient to the Reliant Center where I was working. Enjoyed sunbathing at the pool. I also particularly liked having both a microwave and refrigerator in my room. The entire hotel staff all seems very nice and friendly.”

• It was inexpensive and the staff was friendly and personable.
• First room had AC problems. Second room had wet carpet spot and bad smell.

“If more detail was to be given to floor coverings, cleanliness, the cost would make this an excellent value in the economy type hotels. Socks should not get filthy, just from walking on carpet. Dirty, hairy soap was also left in the shower. But the people were very friendly.”

• Clean.
• 60's era motel, watery "tang" served as orange juice.

“This hotel was new when the astrodome was built across the street. It has outside opening rooms on the upper floors, and one side faces the beltway with all the traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever had at La Quinta. ”

• The hotel was very close to reliant stadium.
• The hotel shuttle would not take us to the stadium after saying it would. It was not very clean.

• location was good and people were friendly. Shuttle to hospital was good.
• Floor on one side of bed was soaked. The receptionist would need to move us to the 3rd floor. Could not do it.

“Housekeeping needs to check rooms frequently. Not a pleasant stay.”

• I was very pleased to find a mid-sized refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The area, even though next to the freeway, was also fairly quiet.
• The cleaning of my room was not done well. One bed was not made and the coffee pot was not emptied, nor coffee refills given.

“The hotel was pleasantly decorated and inviting. The pool was clean, but the area was not private. It was across from the office in what would have been parking area. It did have a privacy fence that covered 2/3 of its area. There was a very nice continental breakfast, but if you were in a hurry, there was not enough waffle making machines if it was busy. The staff was very courteous and when they had problems finding my reservation, the manager got right on it and stayed with it all the while being friendly until she found it. The cleanliness of the common areas and our room upon arrival was wonderful, however, it was very disappointing when we returned late on our second night to find that one bed had not been made and the coffee pot was not emptied, nor were fresh supplies left for the next morning. This was reported and the office appropriately apologized and made a report, but it was late enough that the cleaning crew had already left for the day. My daughter and I were attending a school book fair at the Reliant Park and this hotel was located perfectly for easy access without the business of the area. I was very grateful to not be in an area that required additional fees for parking. Our budget generally does not allow for luxuries. This was a great overall experience and definitely worth my time and money.”

• Convenience of refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, wireless Internet, etc.- all at good price.
• Some mildew in cracks in bathroom (very minor).

“For my purpose, this hotel was excellent quality. It had all basic amenities for a good price. The staff was friendly and helpful regarding directions around the area and use of the hotel.”

“Location was good. Price was good. Hotel seemed very "worn out" Broken toilet seat. Wake up call was 40 minutes earlier than requested. Staff nice. Breakfast items had good selection.”

• Provided a shuttle bus to medical center at no cost to me. Also picked me up and returned to motel. Excellent breakfast also.
• There was nothing to dislike about this motel.
