“The hotel was great!”

  • Mini appliances, WiFi, pet friendly.

“I was glad to find out that the room had a mini fridge and microwave at no additional charge, since dinning out for meals while traveling is a must. I was also traveling with a 3 month old puppy and was able to take the dog into the hotel room with me. Overall Satisfied!”

  • I can't think of anything I did not like.

“The best part was that it was inside the hotel itself. The hotel staff was very friendly. I have no complaints. I would stay here again.

  • Convenient to location/facility where the meetings were held.
  • Pricey for accommodations; awkward access to hotel.

“It was clean, friendly and a little over priced.”

  • Comfortable desk/chair workspace in the hotel room.
  • Poor heating/ventilation unit (cooling system issues).

“Overall for the price the hotel was appropriate and met all necessary requirements: comfortable bed, reasonable rate and good location. Housekeeping was top-notch and continually available and in halls to maintain cleanliness.”

  • Lobby was clean, staff friendly.
  • Hotel used antiquated key system, door did not look safely locked.

“Room smelled of smoke although I requested a non-smoking room. And in the morning someone must have been smoking next door because the smell got even stronger.”

  • The only 2 words I can use to describe about this hotel is 'don't stay'.
  • As a travel agent myself and this is the worsteds hotel I ever stay. I rather sleep in the car next time than check in this hotel.

“I really like to stay at LaQuinta hotel except this location.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[4]

  • The hotel has free internet and free breakfast.
  • Unsafe parking, no sense of security.

“The room was clean. The internet worked ok. Free continental breakfast had surprisingly more selections than expected. No elevators for outdoor walkup rooms so if you have a big suitcase, good luck bringing it to the 2nd floor rooms. You'll think that parking is safe because they have security cameras but my car ended up with a long scratch from the side of my door to the passenger door. Probably won't stay here again because of that.”

  • The night manager and the security woman. Both were sympathetic and genuine.
  • I found that I experienced a rare but extreme allergic reaction in the form of a stupendous headache.

“The night manager was very nice and moved me to another room. That morning I found bugs in my bed and the bathroom. Management gave me a voucher for the Galleria La Quinta which was beautiful.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Staff.
  • The rooms.

“The staff was nice. The rooms were not attractive at all. The smell on the elevator was awkward and so was the smell of the room. This does not meet the standards of a 2.5 star hotel.”

  • Access of Highway was difficult.

“Excellent rooms with great decor. Friendly staff, great location. The free breakfast and internet access was an unexpected.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Location very convenient to Downtown and Galleria. Accessibility +++.
  • It's a warmed over Roadway Inn. Can't see much remodeling or branding.

“It was a basic Roadway Inn from the 70s. Everything was clean and fresh but it was not equal to the more modern Quintas. We had an outdoor walkup to our room. Laminate 'wood' floor had recently been added, felt cheap. Wireless internet worked sporadically. It was a good basic room in a great location.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • The desk clerk was excellent; very cool under pressure.
  • Elevator didn't work; no sense of security.

“In great disrepair. Obviously La Quinta is not planning on keeping this property. The staff did not have what they needed to give good or even moderate customer service. But the staff was great, courteous, efficient, and good under pressure.”

  • It was clean and didn't smell.
  • You had to go out and find food to eat.

“The hotel was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The beds were too hard and lumpy.”

  • It is placed easily to access and exit.
  • The rooms smelled old. Very used carpet and mattresses.

“Easy to access off the HWY. Fairly quiet area for rooms on the rear of building.”

  • The location of the hotel was awesome.
  • The front desk worker (Susan) would not change my reservations from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. She said they had non-smoking rooms.

“The location of the hotel was great. I called the hotel earlier in the morning before checking time to see if I could get a non-smoking room. They told me I was reserved in a smoking room. Upon arrival, the front desk worker (Susan) said they had non-smoking rooms but she could not change my reservation. The AC was not blowing cold air on both nights of our stay. A nice Hispanic girl was going to check if a room change could be possible, but no one notified me that we could have the room changed after the first night.”

  • A/C worked great.
  • The curtains did not close on the way so when the sun came up it was shining right in my face.

“I have had several different hotels using name you own price, and I have always been satisfied. I will use again whenever I need to travel.”

  • Not A thing!!!
  • It's a dump and will not be staying there anymore!!!

“Please take this hotel off of your list! This is one of the reasons business folks will stop using your services if you can't come up with something better than this horrible LaQuinta.”
