• Great staff and quiet rooms (no hall noise or noise spill over from other rooms).
• Small rooms, worn out decor in rooms (to the point that I couldn't tell if stained or just old), due to construction hard to find entrance.

“Great staff, good for short business stays though be prepared for worn decor and guessing if items are dirty or just very old. There is construction going on, so it is better to take next exit up and u-turn under freeway to access entrance rather than follow direction/address listed or else you will need to drive around block. Also, be aware hotel shares parking with office building that is connected to hotel, so keep to left when coming in to access hotel.”

• Very friendly staff, large room, reasonably priced.
• Bathroom clean but needs updating.

“All front desk staff were great, and the public area was clean and beautiful. The room was large and clean; the mattress was wonderful. The bathroom was clean, but water temperature fluctuated so much while showering that it was uncomfortable. The bathroom also lacks a ceiling fan. Self-parking reasonably priced, but a little inconvenient.”

• Comfortable rooms and accommodating staff; good offering of amenities.
• Common internet terminals cost .45/minute; self-park is somewhat off site - use valet.

“While the hotel does have a good share of amenities, it was not obvious what they offered. There was nothing in the room - other than a room service menu - to describe amenities and there seemed to be a lack of signage in the lobby/elevator areas; I did not see any signs in the lobby indicating where the pool was located, etc. The rooms were very comfortable and valet parking is the way to go since the self-park was a bit hidden and seemed to be shared by other buildings in the area.”

“I work in the building attached so I share the garage with the guests. Serious car break-ins, in the garage with no other option to park. It occurred before and after X-mas. We too are left hanging by the hotel with no active security!”

• Have no free parking options.

“This is a really nice hotel. Staff was very friendly, check in smoothly quickly in mere minutes. Only draw back, is bathrooms are very tiny, barely can close the door without being up against vanity!”

• I am a single female traveling alone and they offered me valet parking for the rate of the lot so I would not have to walk alone in the parking garage.
• The fast breakfast order card was written sentence style instead of a list of choices you would check. Very confusing.

“All in all, this hotel was a good one.
Some things were great, robe in closet, free tea and juice in lobby, good service, valet service for single female guests. Some things were not so good. Confusing breakfast order form that no one I asked knew enough about to explain it to me, not offering to quiet down the room next to mine.”

• Convenient location near the Galleria, excellent breakfast buffet.
• Parking garage was somewhat dark and garage elevators were not in the best condition.

“The hotel is definitely more suited for business travelers, but was perfect for our visit to Houston. The staff was extremely nice and there were cookies and juice in the lobby at time of arrival. Free self parking. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a tremendous and extensive menu and included cooked to order omelets. Also, the thermostat in our room was not working one night. We were allowed to sleep in the room next door for the evening and the next day it was resolved. We were also given complimentary coupons to enjoy the breakfast buffet for the inconvenience.
”

• The staff was Ultra-professional, the best.
• They charged for High speed internet.

“I already replied to the Marriott survey and said that I was very pleased with my stay, and it was excellent quality. The best part was the staff, they were probably one of the best I've ever been serviced by. I suggested providing free high speed internet and better entrance from route 610 S.”

• The big fluffy, and comfy bed!
• Did not offer an airport shuttle, nor free parking.

“The hotel was in an upscale and safe location. Even though right next to the highway, I could not hear it. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Staff made me feel welcome and secure.”

• This hotel was right around the corner from several food places and the Galleria. It was also easy to get to because it has direct access to the freeway.
• Not applicable.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service was great, and the food was even better. I would stay there any other time that I went to Houston. It has everything that you need right there at the hotel. The best part is that the staff treat you as if you were family and like they've known you for a lifetime.”
