  • Plush accomodations, comfortable beds.
  • Bathtub wouldn't drain.

“Glad I got a priceline discount. By the time I added parking fees, I could have stayed at a hotel with working plumbing.”

  • Staff gave kids cookies.

“We took my daughter for her birthday, and the staff left cookies for her. Very nice location.”

  • It is very comfortable, clean, and extremely nice!
  • The staff is rather snooty. You can have a four star hotel without being snooty. Not very accommodating. Internet access too expensive.

“We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. For our purposes it is perfect. The staff could be much more accommodating. I called room service and wanted to order soup and a dinner salad, but because a dinner salad wasn't on the menu, they wouldn't even consider accommodating my request. In order to get a salad I had to spend $13! Internet was way too expensive! At Motel 6 it's free!”

  • Staff was great!
  • No pets - no where to take the dog on Christmas day.

“Super staff, need a little more time with map quest and Google, but stayed on the phone for 20 min to help us find the ballet.”

  • Lobby area was very nice.
  • The hotel room.

“The hotel rooms in this hotel are in need of a face lift. Nothing about the rooms that is four star.”

  • Clean, good lighting, good electrical outlets and quantity.
  • Nothing.

  • View of Downtown Houston was nice.
  • TV had no sound, remodeling on the next floor up awoke us at 7am.

“Our room was nice, but there was an incredible amount of noise at 7am until we left. Clearly they were remodeling the floor above us. It was a weekend getaway with my wife and we'd hoped to sleep in.
We ordered a pay-per-view movie - but there was no sound. The hotel was courteous to refund the charge, but was unable to resolve the problem.”

  • The location was great! So convenient for shopping.
  • The
TV was horrible, the food was not good and the
    AC did not function properly.

“The location of the hotel was great, that would almost make me want to stay there again. The hotel was probably a 4 star hotel in the '80s but no any longer. We parked in the parking garage and it would take forever for the elevator to get to us because only one was working at the time. When you stay at an upscale place you expect a flat panel TV or at least one that worked correctly. We had to call the concierge multiple times because the remote would not work and the screen was horrible, we purchased a $10.75 movie in the room and had to watch it with everything on the screen being just different shades of green and could not get to the menu to change it. There is a thermostat in the room, but it did not function properly and we also called the concierge multiple times about that. No one ever came to fix it and my husband and I had to sleep uncomfortably hot both nights, and this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, the Holiday Inn would have been much better.”

  • Location - 10 minutes from conference.
  • Mattress, backache. After two nights I was desperate for some sleep!

“The location is superb with LOTS of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The hotel is clean, personnel are courteous, and amenities are upscale. I personally found the mattress to be so uncomfortable that I could not sleep through the night and awoke several times with a backache. My daughter, however, did not have a problem sleeping.”

  • Comfortable, clean, and nice fitness center.

“Older hotel, very well maintained. Very courteous and helpful staff. Had a great weekend.”

  • The service by the employees were friendly and helpful.
  • Parking is an extra $16 and the internet usage is an extra $12.

“The hotel is clean and well-decorated. The employees are friendly and helpful. However, parking is too steep at $16 for an overnight spot. In addition, I feel like the hotel is nickel and diming the guests by charging for internet usage.”

  • Service by the fabulous concierge staff.
  • Parking is very expensive.

“Great hotel and location, with the concierge going out of his way to help.”

  • The rooms were nice.
  • Parking was $16 for visitors, 20 for over night. Had to pay mini $8.00 to park just for breakfast.

“Hotel rooms were good, but parking was not great when family is visiting and you are dropping off and picking up daily. Too expensive.”

  • Good location, easy access, clean, and welcoming.
  • Poor parking - valet seemed to be the only option.

“Lovely hotel, pleasant staff, well decorated and very comfortable beds.”

  • Comfortable room, clean room.
  • Lobby bar is soooo small, TV's are sooo small.

“Nice, clean room, nice staff, good rate with priceline, lobby bar is so small, holds about 12 people, TV's in bar are so small you can barely see them.”

  • Room comforts.
  • Had to pay for parking.

“Excellent and would recommend to friends.”
