• Location was hard to find.

• Grounds are pretty.
• Mildew smell in lobby, self parking garage closed (under construction).

“Average beds, mildew smell in lobby, self parking was closed and you have to park walk at least 100 yards to get to hotel from alternate self parking area. Lobby is very old and out dated looking. Hotel is in the process of being updated. I was told my room was already updated and the only thing that looked new was the bedspread. The bathroom was average and old looking. Small non flat screen TV. Staff seemed dingy. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. I would rate it a 3.5 star hotel but in no way does it deserve a 4 star rating. For the right price I would stay there again. Does have nice workout facilities.”

• Hotel staff was excellent.
• No hot water on my second morning, self parking garage closed, valet overwhelmed and very slow.

• The pool and patio area is great.
• Lacks parking overnight valet is $20.

“Hotel is nice and clean with an elegant lobby and great outdoor pool area. The hotel staff is professional and friendly. It's not a great location if your on business but a great place to stay if you like shopping at the Galleria Mall and all the restaurants nearby.”

• The attentiveness of the staff.

“Really enjoyed the hotel and staff. The Black Swann Lounge was a nice touch, we didn't have to go anywhere else at night to have a good time. The place was hopping.”

• The hotel was in a safe environment and the rooms was very clean, also they had a great view and no noise for other visitors.
• The charge for parking was too much.

“The hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Houston. It is near shopping areas and have many things inside the hotel for adults and children.”

• Very comfortable, great view, great pool area, Starbucks inside.
• Parking was not close but it was free.

• Location was very convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly, Accommodations were very nice.

“The rooms were comfortable, clean, what I expect for 4 star hotel. The staff were very respectful and friendly.”

• The hotel and staff were wonderful.
• There was a strong smell of cologne in the halls.

“The hotel was more then expected. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel presentation and the staff reminded me of the Ritz. Same attention to decor and the traveler as the Ritz. I was not expecting this!”

• They took great care of us and met our needs.
• While at first they did not offer us the connecting rooms they asked for. They corrected the problem. It took some waiting around with three kids.

• I really enjoyed the location and the general room appearance.
• The room was really warm when I went to bed even though the thermostat was turned down to 65 degrees.

“The Omni hotel was in a very convenient location. The hotel itself was nice but there was a lot of construction going on outside and around the parking area. Use the valet attendants if you don't want to put up with long walks to the other parking garage. The front desk staff was efficient and courteous. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. Maybe not worth the regular price we might have been charged.”

• Elegant, clean, quiet and comfortable.
• None.

“This is a slightly older hotel, thankfully so, with tasteful decor, nice sized bathroom and quality staff. I don't like wide screen plasma TV's and high tech, uncomfortable furniture. This hotel has neither. Expensive furnishings and construction, good HVAC and hot water. Professional staff.”

• The food at the downstairs bar was great!
• There was extra charges placed on my account by mistake totaling over $400.

“The bed was comfy and the bathroom was fabulous( ladies it was big with plenty of mirrors ). The hotel was perfect !”

• Beautiful hotel and facilities, beautiful grounds.
• The parking was limited and the overflow area was not explained and had to walk through construction area, staff was belligerent and argued about this.

“There was a smoke in the lobby and they kept saying everything is ok, well finally after one hour of them running around trying to figure out what was wrong they called the fire department. It ruined the entire trip. Can't trust the management to do what is right in an emergency situation. Will not stay there ever again.”

• Good management and overall service. Great atmosphere.
• Hotel caught fire. We were stuck in our car 30 min. Between trucks. Had to walk thru rain.

“Nice lobby, location, service and rooms. Valet packing competed at my urging due to fire. Circumstances of fire somewhat hindered Romanic mood.”

• The service was amazing, very posh and comfortable.
• Self parking filled up at night, we had a long walk to the garage.

“This hotel was great, as a young engaged couple (22) many places don't take us seriously. This didn't happen at the Omni, everyone was great, the concierge helped plan a day for us, and no one treated us like we didn't belong. It was amazing, comfortable and a perfect get away!”

• The hotel is nestled away from the hectic atmosphere of the surrounding area.
• The scheduled wake up call was an hour late.

“A very pleasant hotel which may need a bit of updating. The bed was not very comfortable and the bathtub/shower is outdated. The lobby is attractive.”
