• The hotel seemed to exceed the rating provided on Priceline.
• The parking lot was small and difficult to park a large vehicle.

“This hotel seemed much nicer than the star ratings provided on-line. The hotel seemed new and the room we stayed in felt more like a deluxe suite than their simple room. The fact it offered things like a stove, microwave, sink with disposer & full refrigerator were definite bonuses!”

• It was literally a block away from the galleria. Also, it is right off 59 and everything I do in Houston is off 59. It was perfect for me!
• I felt like you have to be He-Man to push the door open but once you make it in it's all good.

“The staff was very friendly and up beat. The room was quiet and didn't have any odor. (that's always a plus) The parking lot was gated and the stairs and elevator were only accessible with a key for added security. Overall, the hotel was perfect for me.”

• Rooms were spacious and included everything in the kitchen.
• Couldn't find any ice.

“This is a good base camp for all for the Bayou City Arts Festival, located in the heart of shopping, and with spacious rooms and a well equipped full kitchen. Not too noisy, though there seems to be a disco nearby that thumps all night Saturday.”

• Friendly and in a good location.

“Upon check-in & check-out, the staff was very friendly! They helped me out with any problems that I had. I was pleasantly surprised by the morning breakfast and the afternoon happy hour. The room was a bit small for 4 people (2 adults + 2 small children) but it was comfy.”

• It was recently updated and was like a small apartment.
• The outside appearence and outside entry into the rooms.

“The inside is very nice and clean! The drive up appeal is less appealing. I didn't care of the outside entry into the rooms, but once in the room you forget about it. The breakfast was good with a variety. The location was great. Very close to Galleria and many restaurants.”

• I had to walk a ways from elevator, no smoking rooms, not a hotel. it was a motel.

“No smoking rooms I will try hotwire for more of a room choice in the future.”

• Everything was great, perfect location for near by business, love the breakfast, outdoor B.B.Q, SWIMMING POOL.
• They don't much service you, it's more get it yourself.

• Very convenient location, hospitable.
• No elevator, at least on our end of the building.

“Check-in was great. The guy even ran after us to give us water bottles and chocolates because we are Rewards club members. Location was right across the road from Houston Galleria and close to I610.”

• The fact that it is all suites.
• The hot tub is not hot.

“Residence Inn was a great place to stay with our kids. They loved having their own TV. And it was nice to have a fridge to store drinks. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean.”

• Quiet, plenty of space in the room, good breakfast.
• Fire alarm chirped, so we had to move rooms.

“Quiet, convenient to Downtown, mall, freeway. Plenty of space in the rooms. Staff was mostly helpful, but unwilling to replace our fire alarm battery after hours, so we had to move to another room at 3am. I would stay here again.”

• The staff and lobby were very inviting and friendly.
• The rooms are a little outdated, BUT VERY CLEAN!!!

“The residence inn was a nice little hotel nestled in big city surroundings. The staff (all shifts) were incredibly friendly and they truly exceeded five star in that respect. The continental breakfast is excellent. It's definitely better than many three stars and even four stars up north. The rooms need redecoration but are not ugly. Just a bit outdated. There is plenty of space in all rooms and the pool area is lovely. Overall, the hotel was far superior to many I had stayed in before. They go the extra mile for your comfort. The parking is okay if you only have a small truck or car.”

• Elizabeth the desk manager was excellent!
• Backing out of the parking spaces was difficult.

“In the heart of the Galleria. Right across the street from the Galleria Mall and restaurants. You can walk! Great cozy apartment living including kitchen and living room and dining areas. The customer service is 5 star! I stayed an extra day.”
