• Close to Funeral Home. I attended and restaurants.
• No milk and few options for continental breakfast.

“Dismal lobby. Our room was located on Freeway side of hotel - hard to sleep.”

• TV worked, reasonable location.
• Dirty, room smelled, gym was from 1982 (and dirty), pool was closed.

“This was the most disappointing hotel experience I have ever had (and I am not extremely picky). This Ramada was dirty, the beds were poorly made, nothing worked, and the gym was dirty and outdated, elevators smelled - definitely not suitable for business travel. The whole place needs a major renovation.”

• It was close to a major highway.
• The lobby smelled like urine, as did the room. Dirty and run down.

“This hotel was rated a two star but was clearly a one star. The lobby smelled like urine, and the room was incredibly run down and gross. The bathroom was nearly destroyed and the shower curtain bar had been ripped off the wall. Although I got a non smoking room, it smelled like it had been a smoking room in the recent past.”

• The breakfast and free newspapers were excellent.
• Hotel in disrepair, dirty room, bathroom, old hanging curtain, telephone keypad extremely dirty, ice machines were dirty, etc.

“The Ramada has really gone downhill. Elevator brass railings need polishing, some elevator buttons need illuminations, carpet in my room was stained and dirty, tub drain broken, bathroom door and walls actually had dirty handprints on them, wallpaper torn in some places, the room really needs painting and the lampshades need updating. As a former assistant manager in housing and food service at a major university and a bed and breakfast owner, I was horrified. I tried to contact both managers daily and was told they were not in. The desk clerk did not know how to release my funds and tried to contact the manager. After approximately three hours the manager did return my call, however, he said that he could not release my funds for at least 4 to 6 days. I contacted my bank and they told him to at least forward a fax to them to release said funds. Finally, he did send the fax and I was able to collect my funds. if possible I would app.”

• Very bad hotel.
• No water, very foul smell, bad site, noises all around, bad location and bad rooms, bad TV all bad! Never had a bad experience horrible!

• It was close to my appointment and to the Memorial Park.
• Lots of construction going on and elevators were dirty and scary.

“It will do if it is close to where you need to be, but I would not go out of my way to stay there.”

“The hotel is run down. Roof leaking, pool not in service, laundry facilities not in service, urine odor throughout the Hotel and on and on. The customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. I am acutely aware of how to treat customers.”

“This hotel needed repairs in corridors, ice machine was broken on my floor and had to go to lobby for ice. Forgot our towels on second day and waited for an hour to get them. Our room smelled very musty, we bought our own air freshener. Pool was out of service. I am a self employed artist and travel around the country. Ramada's seem to be the worse of all of the chains for some reason. The Ramada Express, the newer ones are nice, but the older ones that seem to be independently owned are always run down and not clean.”

• When I arrived at the hotel, the pool was out of service, there were very few channels available on TV, no movies to rent.

“This hotel was horrible! They were remodeling. There was no pool, cable, and movie rental. Also there were no smoking rooms available. ”

• One of the worst I have ever stayed in.
• Extremely run down, dirty poor quality everything.

“This is the most run down hotel I have ever booked. Needs massive spruce up, updating. Currently being used to house New Orleans hurricaine refugees and is being severely torn up and destroyed. TV's, bathrooms, lobby, hallways all look severely beat up. This hotel should never have even been on the list and the price I payed $91 is a massive ripoff.”
