• Cheap.
• Rooms smelled of smoke, tried two.

“Rooms smelled of smoke, tried two different rooms both smelled bad. Would not stay there again. If the rooms did not smell so bad it would have been ok.”

“If you want professional services, in a hotel this is it. Spotless inside and out; you'll feel right at home with comfortable rooms; the relaxing bed, and room amenities adds value to this "Grand Hotel.”

• Modern design of the rooms.
• Check in staff was very rude.

“The hotel was very nice, and the cleaning service was prompt. But the clerk at the check in desk was very curt and unfriendly.”

• Close to Galleria.
• No breakfast given which is standard.

“The room ceiling was leaking, the water was dripping but they gave us the new room next night. There is construction going on which I was not told.”

• I had an emergency and had to leave after one day - therefore losing my second day's payment.

• The room was large with comfortable beds. Room was a suite with separate room for sleeping.
• Bathroom was a little cramped with a small mirror.

“I loved the room. It was large with a nice living/working area. Each room has glass doors that face the interior entrance and curtains must be pulled for privacy. That and the small bathroom are the only problems I had with the hotel, but those are not problem enough to keep me from staying there again. I really liked the layout of the room. It was spacious and accommodating. The bed was really comfortable.”

• All suite setup was wonderful.
• Atrium was very warm outside room.

“I didn't expect much after seeing the outside of the hotel. Once I got to the room, I was very impressed. The room was nicer than some of the 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Staff was very accommodating to our needs. They have their own pizza delivery which is excellent.”

• The room had two televisions so that my husband and I didn't have to watch what my son wanted.
• The elevators gave me the creeps. The were glass and kind of freaked me out.

“This hotel was awesome! I was very quiet the staff was very nice and the rooms were wonderful! It was the nicest stay we have ever had in Houston. In fact I enjoyed this room more than the Westin in Washington DC (and that's really saying something because the beds in a Westin are second to none).”

• In a bad section of Houston.

• Beds were very comfortable.
• Towels were dirty the first night we got there.

“Hotel was great. We were disappointed on the first night when we found dirty glasses and towels in our room. It appeared someone did not finish the cleaning. Other than that experience, it was great.”

• The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.
• At breakfast the service in the restaurant was slow.

• Location was okay.
• Almost everything.

“It took 2 hours to get a crib for the baby even though it was on the reservation. Then, room requested supposed to have two queen size bed but room had only king. Room didn't smell clean and bathroom walls had wholes. There was no exhaust fan in the bath either. Bed was not comfortable. This hotel did not serve lunch on weekends which was odd. Elevators were quite old. I needed to print my boarding passes but business center computers did not print. When asked for help front desk acted like I didn't know how to use the computer. Later, printed my documents from the front desk computer. Hotel smells too. Not going to recommend.”
