• Quiet (probably because no one else was staying there).
• Rooms filthy.

“When you first entered the room it was decent. The beds were made nicely and they were comfortable. As I began to look around, the walls looked damaged and it looked like they hired someone inside the hotel to fix it. The outlets were not in the wall fully (safety hazard). There was a huge stain on my sheet (I slept on top of the blanket). The bathroom was kind of clean, but again the general maintenance of the room was very, poor. It made me very uncomfortable and the staff wasn't helpful either. I will do everything never to stay in Topeka, Kansas.”

• The bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice as well.
• The floor in the restaurant needed to be swept.

• Very conveniently located for my needs.
• Sounds from atrium carried into our room.

“The hotel was very convenient to the events we were attending in Topeka. It was clean, attractive, and the staff was polite. There was an open atrium and the sounds from the ground floor areas carried up into our room.”

• The room was very nicely decorated.
• The service everywhere was VERY slow!

“It was clean but the service at the front desk and restaurant were terribly slow. The food was good, but not family friendly. A group meeting at the hotel was VERY loud until almost midnight.”

• Fake plants were everywhere! It would have been nice to see as many real plants.

• Very nice, good service, very nice room and view of courtyard from hall, enjoyed stay.
• Far from shopping and eating venues.

• Open and inviting feeling in foyer and lobby.
• Fire alarm going off at 6:30 a.m. And being asked to exit hotel completely.

“Very nice but as with all hotel rooms with an open floor plan to the lobby it was very noisy early in the morning due to the breakfast/brunch buffet and close proximity to the pool.”

• Appearance and location.
• Young people roaming (running) the halls after 11:00 p.m.

“Excellent hotel in appearance, friendly, clean and location for our trip to Topeka. I would stay there again, even if the location was not near our activities.”
