• Toilet would not shut off.

• The proximity my business was excellent.
• I found that the cooling unit was not quite up to par.

• It had a vacancy.
• I know why it had a vacancy.

“Although it said "under new management" it obviously needs a lot of help. The room was run down and smelled. There was popcorn on the floor from some previous guest. The paint was pealing off the wall in the bathroom and around the sink. No way would I ever stay there again.”

• The receptionist with the tongue ring was very apologetic when we found all of the things wrong with our room. She then found a room that was clean.
• The original room had trash on the floor, dirty walls, dried boogers on the bathroom wall, and a horrible odor.

“After I found our original room to be disgustingly dirty, they moved us to a clean upstairs room. (no elevator) when I was headed to the front desk to get sheets for the pullout bed, I overheard the staff making rude comments about me wanting to move from the room with boogers on the wall. Imagine that. I won't stay here again.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The downstairs smelled musty or moldy. Our bathroom was not clean when we got our room. It had pubic hair and other gross things on the floor.

“The hotel was probably okay for business people not for a family. The staff was very nice. I felt like they had some cleanliness issues. After I found gross stuff in the bathroom it looked like it was only halfway cleaned up. I did not feel comfortable using that bathroom.”

• Complete and total indifference to my comfort.

“The hotel did not deliver service as advertised. The staff was totally unresponsive to an overflowing toilet. There was construction going on that I was not warned of ahead of time. This is definitely on my list of hotels to be avoided in the future.”

• The fact that I got a first floor, convenient room since I had 2 children with me.
• The indoor swimming pool was broken.

“We were there for a funeral and the location was great. It was bad that 61st Street had construction, but we maneuvered around the construction. We felt safe there too, which is a big plus. Thank you.”
